I hope you get it! It seems that they are having difficulty lining up your financing - even with $15k down. Did you bring your own financing, or are they doing it? If so, things like the insurance would matter for the finance company. They could possibly be trying to avoid a spot delivery, which could be illegal in your state. A spot delivery is when they send you off with the car prior to having the financing arranged - and then have to renege on the deal because the financing fell through.

I assume you saw the vehicle there on Saturday and test drove it. In your paperwork, there will be an odometer statement, so be sure that it is correct when you pick it up. They should be bending over backwards to get you in the vehicle especially with $1500 over MSRP, but let us know how it works out.

That's correct. I ended up getting the expedition. At 18k off MSRP it was a no brainer vs the non-sense KIA dealerships are asking for. Good luck for all in your hunt!

Just bought my Ex in black. Premium package. $42500. Anyone has any ideas how to set up interior ambient lighting? Also anyway I can convert the space between the captains chairs for an additional 8th seat if needed?

EX does not have interior ambient lighting in the dash. If you added it as an option for footwells and cupholders, there should be a button in the little compartment in front of the cupholders - and below the wireless charging area. No, you cannot convert the middle section to a seat "if needed". There would be no seatbelt, and no manufacturer would advise to do this. Unfortunately, there is no jump seat option like tourist vans in Honduras or Belize...

I really wanted a bench seat instead of captains but could not find any ex in black in my state with that config. Did not want to order one as waiting times were 3 to 4 months!

Just bought a Telluride last night! You won't believe my luck. Back in September, I put in 2 orders with 2 dealerships - neither asked for a deposit - for a Dark Moss, Gray interior S Trim FWD! One dealership claimed that they had a VIN number and the car was due in next week but then starting acting vague when I asked for details. The other dealer has been claiming that they never get anything from KIA and the car just 'appears' on a truck 4 months later. So, I had about given up and was about to buy a 2019 Maxda CX9 Touring Premium package for a lease of about $415 tax and all (which was very good). So, on the way to the Mazda dealership, which is only 200 yards from another local KIA dealership, I decided to stop at the KIA dealership and simply sit in a Telly again so I could have a current idea of how much smaller the CX9 would be when I went over there. Well, I talked to a salesman and told him I just wanted to sit in a gray one they had sitting at the front door. I sat in it and I thought, man this feels good (I'm 6'4"). He asked me what was going on and I told him my story. Well, another salesman sitting next to his desk heard me talking about ordering a Dark Moss and he spoke up and said 'We just got a Dark Moss off the truck about 30 minutes ago. We haven't even checked it in yet.'. My salesman didn't know this. I wasn't excited because I expected it to not be equipped like I wanted. So my next question was about color of interior? Answer: It was gray! I then said, but I'm sure it is AWD right? Answer: No, it is FWD! (what I wanted). I couldn't believe it. Then I said, what trim is it? It is EX with the new Premium package with 20" wheels! I said, that is probably out of my budget. We went out and looked at it and it was really something. Sitting right there in front of me. 3 hours later, I drove it home! Sticker was $38,890. I paid that price minus $2100 military and KIA lease cash. Leased it. 62% residual, and they gave me a better than norml money factor. With nothing down and 36/12000 terms, and 6.5% tax, the lease payment came out to $572 and I don't have to make first payment until Jan 11. The first payment came out of the $2100 rebate. It is something and I cannot believe my luck! I did leave for 10 minutes and checked out the CX9 which was nice with the Bose sound, but even though I had room, I still felt like I was in a station wagon with a car like feeling and not as high up. My right leg was right against the console and not nearly the same 'airy' spacial feeling as the Telly. So, I'm a lucky boy this morning with a new Telly in the driveway.

I don’t think anyone knows when 2021 will become available to order yet. Ordering after 01/01 for my understanding is still an option.

Folks, this is the reason why some dealers appear shady and won't give you any sort of commitment over the phone... they don't know if your deal with them is real or is just one of many that you had placed with different dealers. If you play games with people then don't get upset if people play games with you.

I went to many dealerships over later summer 2019, and was told no orders for sx w/Prestige were being taken until November. Then one day a dealer called saying they had an SX Prestige with towing (what I wanted!) released from Georgia and on it's way... I paid 2k over MSRP. Then I had to buy the add-on protection/maintenance/warranty package for nearly 4k... while I get some financial benefit, I see the majority of the cost as a premium. Of course these cost figured into the tax I paid too!

I put 3K down and signed on some papers for the upcoming SX with Prestige Package. The dealer said it will arrive around next week. Here is the California and I had to pay for 3K mark up. In order to receive 1K rebate, I chose Kia Financing to purchase it. I have a question. My credit score is over 800 and my APR is about 4%. But I found that It will be 2.9% from the Kia website. What APR are uguys having?
