In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Aftermarket Wheels for the Telluride

What are you doing with the old rims (I presume black)?
Same question here. If you guys are replacing your SX factory set with 22s, what are you doing with the 20s? If you are in driving distance of Michigan, i would be interested.

Does anyone know if 285/35r22 will fit with a 10.5 inch rim. Im looking for the concave look.1578909092379.webp

What wheels are those?
Asanti abl11. They make 22x9 with a +32 offset and 22x10.5 with +35. I know for a fact that the 22x9 fit with 265/40 tire, but they dont have that concave look im after. Thats why i was asking if anyone had tried 10.5 with 285/35 tires.

Has anyone swapped stock OEM 20" tires on 20" x 9" wide aftermarket wheels?

I want to get new wheels, but buying new tires for them seems like such a waste if I can just use my existing (500km only!) tires...

What size lug nuts did you guys buy for your aftermarket wheels? I don't think you can use your existing one's, can you?

OE tires are 245/50r20. 245mm tire is exactly 9.6 inches wide you should be fine on a 9 inch wide rim. But i wouldn't go any wider on rim.✌

I knew they just fit- but just was hoping someone had actually mounted them on 9" wide.

Appreciate the reply!

anybody planning on wheels for their Telluride? the stock 20s are only 7.5" wide from something I've read... i want to order some rims before my Telluride arrives so i can put them on right away, but im trying to figure out what i can fit... i found a set i want, now i just need to figure out how wide i can go... and whether or not to jump up to 22s. i was looking at 20x9, or 20x10.5, but now im thinking maybe 22x9.5...thoughts?

I'm worried about the rim offset variance from oem. OEM on the 20s are 49.5mm I believe. Has anyone put on rims that are 35mm or lower. Can the suspension system be aligned properly to compensate? And does this have any impact on the all wheel drive system?

Yeah, altering offset from factory is not something to completely ignore. It can affect the scrub radius which can affect performance, braking, acceleration, and tire wear. Several members here have gone with 35 offset and I want to say I've seen at least one go as low as 32 or maybe it was even 30. I just remember it was less than 35.

Asanti Abl21 22x9 +32 on Toyo Proxes St 265/40r22. No issues, no rubbing at all. Only drives a tad bit stiffer than 20" oe wheels.
