• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... I'm anxiously awaiting my SX from Kia of Muncie. I'm leasing it and live in Metro Detroit. I haven't seen anything about the maintenance plan, ie oil changes, tire rotation, etc. My Jaguar F Pace and Audi had service included (I'm sure it was rolled into the price somehow but I didn't pay anything when I took it in). How does Kia work their service? Clearly I'd be taking it to my local dealer vs. driving to Indiana. TIA!

Not included. I was quoted a rather high price for a tire and maintenance plan while finalizing the paperwork. I quickly declined before falling out of my chair.

I got a 3 year maintenance plan for free by calling In and asking kia. It was easy. I get free oil changes tire rotations cabin filters key replacement if lost and a few other things. I’m leasing so I don’t really care about taking care of these things but I do now that it’s free.

WOW! That's great. I'm going to be leasing too and will try this out. You called Kia Corporate? Do you have the number?

It’s kia consumer affairs. 800-333-4KIA

FYI my telluride ex Awd ($40,500 sticker ) 3 year lease 15k miles $700 down is $499 after tax.

I signed up for the kia founders club that gave a months payment or Sirius for 2 years. I did free months payment but there was some mixup (but I eventually got it) so I complained to that number. They offered that up right away. I got a similar thing with my Ford Fusion when I complained about a service recall taking a full day instead of half a day like they told me. Here’s the email I got from them :

Dear John,
As we previously discussed, we are happy to offer you a 3 year KIA Care Maintenance Plan that includes engine oil and filter change, multi-point inspection, tire rotation, key replacement, climate control air filters (every 15,000) and engine air cleaner filter(every 30,000). The plan is offered through Fidelity. It’s the premium plan and it is good for 3 years. It can take a minimum of 6 weeks for the contract to be mailed to you via USPS. Once the contract # is issued, I will notify you so that it can be used at your local certified KIA dealerships. Please let us know if you have any concerns or questions.

Thank you for being the best part of KIA!

Sincerely,

Nikki Jessee, Total Case Specialist
