Telluride VIN Lookup Website

It was a bug with my display script. I've fixed it so EX with tow packages are being displayed correctly now.

There's another, sort of, bug where if you filter by 'T' it'll show 'T' or 'P/T'. Same for 'P'. I'll look into that as well, but at least you can see if one has 'T'.

I also added code to look for VINs that have been created out of order, so a bunch of new VINs will come in today that were created over the last few weeks. I think 50 or so.

Check again.. I fixed it to display EX with towing package. Very sorry about that!
 
The EX has a “Premium package” not the Prestige package...which is exclusive to the SX.
I have heard that almost all EXs are being made with the Premium package now, although I haven’t checked the stats to verify it.

I don't know about this particular vehicle, you should call the dealer and find out. The lookup script seems not to be labeling Tow (T) in the spreadsheet correctly. You have to look through all the ones with the 'option' column blank to find the ones that have the Tow package.

Is there a dealer code lookup where I can find dealer address? When I click on dealer code, it does give details of dealer with address but I am looking for a code of a specific dealer to filter results out.

Find a VIN from that dealer (go to their website and find a vehicle) and then you will find the Dealer code on that VIN vehicle sheet
 
From the excellent VIN lookup/TellyStats, it looks like there has been close to zero cars getting VIN's last few days. Does anyone have any insight if production has halted or if it's just communication error to the stats?

It could be an issue with the site as the stats site was running on a free tier that has a data cap....I’ll take a look.

There have been a few dozen added in the last 2 hours. Still not very much. I can't look at the logs to see what time of day they're usually added but there are usually some on Sunday and more on Mondays. And I think they're added during the south Korean business hours so I'd think they'd be done for today...

Yeah something is off somewhere. Either they skipped a massive # and it threw off your logic, or you hit some data cap or something? I doubt they cut production from 300ish a day down to <30.
 
From my understanding, the plant only operates Monday through Friday, so no VINs would be created over the weekend.

Here are some stats about the EX Premium package using my data fro my Google Sheet:

EX since Dec 01, 2019: 3831
Premium: 2648 (69%)
Not premium: 1183 (31%)

The only day we weren't really seeing large volume of VINs is typically on Sundays, so hopefully we see about 300 more added here today. In the past few weeks the large chunks added were early in the mornings. Maybe the dude that loads them is on PTO and nobody knows what to do.

Thanks Michel, do you have any plans to update the spreadsheet with more data (last update I have is Jan 27th)? I love this document, really provides awesome info.
Not sure if it can be done when converting to google, but in excel you can freeze to top row, is that something you can consider doing/adding? (View-Freeze Top Row)

As of February 10, 2020, I have update my Google Sheet with the latest VINs. The last VIN is now 5XYP24HC5LG079257.

Complete history: Google sheet.

Last 3 months only: Google Sheet

For the Canadian market, I have found a way to know if the produced VIN is for Canada or the Middle East. To know this I now use the Canadian UVO API. With this information I now know that Kia is producing more Tellurides for the Canadian market now. I think this might be related to the Hyundai boat that capsized in Georgia in September 2019. Apparently, a bunch of Telluride destined to the Middle East were on that boat and maybe Kia decided to take some future inventory from Canada and produce more the the Middle East. In December 2019 and January 2020 (so VINs produced in November and December), there were basically no Telluride in stock in any Canadian dealers. I hope this gets fixed with 482 Telluride VINs produced in January 2020.
