• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Twin Turbo V6 on way?

🤖 AI Summary

A friend of mine is the design team leader for the Telluride. The current chassis, coupled with the FWD/AWD powertrain design, are not compatible with a TT engine. The HP/TQ created by a TT needs to be paired with RWD/AWD for durability and longevity. There are no plans in at least the next few years to incorporate a TT into the Telluride. This person is a terrible liar, so I believe.

Kia has the sportage fwd turbo. Still no chance?

Who here has a Telluride? Is it me, or was it very noisy when you put a foot into it? We seem to be split, there’s the pragmatists, those decrying any need for more power, and those of us who KNOW how much better the (already really good offering) Telly could be, by adding some unadulterated adrenaline. 🤷‍♂️

Does KIA troll this site? I’d love it if they would pitch in on this, and subjects like this. 🤔👍

Bottomline.... love this engine! Yes....it is not turbo, but I can go as fast as I want ( and need to ) and get fantastic mileage, use 87 level fuel and have no issues! I traded in my 2018 Explorer which had the "interceptor twin turbo" . BUTTTTT, required premium level fuel! Fun...yes, but reality is this Telly engine is fantastic compromise for all the things I want to be able to do with an SUV.
