If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Does anyone know what either or both of the option codes TWJ and TO stand for?

Thanks! Can you order just a tow hitch? Doesn't the towing package come with the hitch?

Yes, and yes. Different options. Search towing package on forum to understand difference.

Thanks. I haven't been able to find a reference when searching for either option code, hence my question. I have seen an order that included both TO and TWJ, but if as you say the towing package comes with the hitch, why would both be listed?

Package has different rear shocks (self leveling) and the tow hitch. The other one is just adding on the tow hitch, which the dealer will just likely do.

Right, but prob. charge the same as the one with self leveling shocks. I had one place tell me they'd add the tow package for the 700 or whatever (same as the full tow pkg from the factory) to an existing SXP. But that doesn't include the self leveling shocks. Figure for the same $, get the factory version. Unless you can't find a car that has the tow pkg... then having a dealer throw on the hitch is prob. fine.

Then how do you explain BOTH on the same order???
