• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Kia Telluride US production stats. by trim and colors

The Tellystats site doesn't appear to have been updated yesterday or today.

I have updated my Google Sheets containing the latest Telluride VINs. As of March 3, 2020 the last Telluride VIN is 5XYP34HC6LG084982.

Note: You can now download those Google Sheets locally to your computer and play around with the data as you wish.

All VINs: Google Sheet

Last 3 months VINs: Google Sheet

Enjoy.
I can’t open up the sheet mobile. Anything for IA006 as far as SXP?

We're in the process of moving the telly-stats database over to handle the larger amount of info. @Steve.eichert might have more info. The lookup site is still updated Telluride Lookup

Is there an estimate on when the TellyStats page will be back up? @Steve.eichert

Thanks.

Is it safe to assume June 6th, 2019 was the first day you ran your parser? Is there any way to back into the VIN creation date from the VIN number? Perhaps its best to just start summarizing stats as of July.

Yes June 6th was he first day that I ran my scrapper, this is why you will see a bunch of VINs generated in June 2019.

There is no way to retrieve the VIN creation date from the VIN number.

The Tellystats site doesn't appear to have been updated since April 10th. Now that production picked up again it would be great to see that daily details. Thank you for all the work put into these tools you all created. Much appreciated!

KIA, West Point, GA opens next week for production. Telluride, Sorento and Optima are produced there.

Interesting, so the daily numbers on the Telluride Lookup page are in preparation for opening back up? IE: VINs being created? Each day there have been about 150 to 250 showing created each day. - I downloaded the data from the Telly Lookup page and since the 10th there are only a few that have been built (likely had been waiting for parts as someone said.) Just odd that the Telly Lookup page was showing large set's of VIN's created the last few days.

Kia workers were originally scheduled to return to work April 7 according to the workers comments on Facebook. I posted a question on the Kia site asking when the new Telluride information would be released, and they said to just keep checking their site.

They are making face shields for medical facilities at the factory right now.

Kia's newest proposed resumption of production is April 27th, 2020.

Telly stats shows a few cars were completed after the shutdown until April 10 - likely were vehicles awaiting parts. Nothing since April 10. TellyStats

Those new VINs that you see on the Telluride Lookup page are old VINs in the 24000 serial number range from 2019.

There has been no new VINs since about April 4th, 2020.

Ah! That makes more sense. Thanks all.

Apparently Georgia cases are still going up, but the Governor is trying to open up the state. This is the link to the local paper that stays on top of things such as local employers - Kia being the biggest. I expect news will be out soon, as the factory will send out notices to their employees with the new start date, which I expect will be big news in town. The LaGrange Daily News

Sorry for the confusion. I added the ability last week to sort by VIN number. If you do that, descending, you can see the last VIN created was 3/26/2020.

The site checks each day for VINs that were missed or weren't in the system previously, so those are the new VINs you see appear. I've thought about making the create date smarter, such as knowing the first and last VIN on a certain date and making the VIN use that date, but that would mean VINs that may only be a few weeks old but just added wouldn't show up if you look at newly created VINs. Maybe I could add an additional column for VIN added date and make VIN create date try and be the actual date...

Good news (although don't be surprised if it gets extended...again).
