However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Good Dealer Dealings - List Your Good Dealer Experience

I join with the long list of Muncie Indiana KIA fans in thanking Jason and Lucas for their outstanding service to Telluride customers. Service like that provided by these guys is needed in so many places within the auto sales arena and public sales in so many other areas. You know you are dealing with honest people when you are in contact with them. I chatted with many other dealers in pursuit of our Telluride. All too many could have used a giant dose of "Muncie"!

I also had a fantastic encounter with Auto Express KIA of Erie, PA. Salesman Kyle Carmosino and Finance mgr Regina Toombs were as forthright, honest and accommodating as Muncie KIA. I would never hesitate recommending Kyle or Regina to anyone searching in the Erie area. Thanks guys for an outstanding experience.

I strongly suspect the owners of Muncie and Auto Express may have gone to the same school of management and public relations!!

We appreciate the kind words. Thank You!

I had a good experience at Summit Place Kia in Auburn Hills, MI. Bought an S on Saturday, no mark up, no BS. They knew I had done my research and didn't try to up or oversell me. I told the salesman up front I wasn't interested in extended warranties or maintenance packages and he didn't pressure me. Costa and John were both great. The ladies at the front desk were also friendly and helpful. Feel bad I had to cancel my order with Muncie, but I was worried if I had to wait 4-6 months, I'd have to buy a 2021 at a higher price.

TLDR; picked up my Black/Dune SX-P/T TELLIE, she is AMAZING and Andrew from Garvey Kia in NY is first class all the way!!!!

Well... Hubs and I have officially won the Telluride lottery folks. We finally agreed on a 3 row SUV in January and that's when we started our search. A few weeks into the search we realized that these cars are not just available for purchase on lots and then I hit the internet in hopes to find some insight out there. After finding this incredible community and extremely helpful VIN lookup site, lady luck was finally on our side and we picked up our brand new SX-P/T EBONY BLACK with Dune Telluride on Saturday March 14th from Garvey Kia in Queensbury NY. After spending weeks dealing with a bunch of dishonest and slimey salespeople at various dealers we stumbled upon Garvey and Andrew Percetti. This guy is the real deal when it comes to honest and transparent sales people. We originally had an order placed on Feb 14 with a dealership recommended in the forum as we thought this was basically our only chance but then we came up with another plan that we thought... hey... if it works, it shaves time off of the wait, if not... then we continue to wait. My hubs and I basically combed the lookup site for cars meeting our specs within a 500 mile radius. We decided that we liked both black and white so we were going to look at both and whatever one we found was going to be the decision maker. We would look at VINs created two weeks prior to the current date and based on the dealerships that were returned, we sent the same email to everyone that read as follows... "I understand you are expecting a X color with Y interior SX P/T Telluride at blah blah dealership with VIN ending in #####. Is this car available for sale or allocated to a customer order?" Most were allocated to orders. Some dealers reached out and played games with us. Some told us the car was available but marked up above MSRP. Then on March 3rd... our lookup site roulette game finally paid off with Garvey and the process couldn't have been easier. When we put our deposit down, the car hadn't arrived yet but was expected within the next week and we made arrangements to pick up on the 14th. Andrew sent us texts showing on the map where the car was nearly every day. He also took care of all the DMV stuff for us so we worked out the financing and paperwork ahead of time all and we needed to do was come to the dealership, sign the papers and take the car home. We also got lucky on price as the car was (old!!) MSRP, the VIN was created just days before the switch to the new MSRP, we took advantage of the 1K rebate and 1.75% interest rate. The best part of the experience was that Andrew walked us through many of the features in the car, helped set up the app, pair our phones etc etc. Knew SO much about the car. It is unbelievable how many other sales people we have talked to that didn't know basic features of the Telluride and in nearly all cases we were more knowledgeable. In Andrew's case, he actually taught us things we did not know, that's how it should be!! We invited him to join this forum, I think he would be an asset here as a member. Lastly, this car is incredible. I knew I liked it from the test drive but after driving it around, playing with the features... there is literally NO competition out there. The hype is REAL!!

My dealings with Power Kia in Salem, OR seemed too good to be true at first. They came through big time, exactly as promised and with absolutely no surprises. Herman, Shane, Tyler... You Rock!

Ordered my Moss Green/Butterscotch SX from Williamsburg KIA in Williamsburg, VA in December. I'm riding now and they have been great. I don't think they even ever mark up past MSRP. KIA Manager is Sean...

Just picked up my SX Telluride yesterday from Huffines Kia Corinth. @DonovanHuffinesCorinth was awesome to work with over phone and email, and had me in and out the dealership incredibly quickly. Definitely the best car buying experience I've had.

For those in Texas, we bought our SX Telluride on Friday from Huffines Kia Corinth as well. Our salesman was Donovan, 817-903-1130 . We got his number from this forum and he was great to work with, no messing around on price or dealer add ons. We are very satisfied.

I talked to nikki.pieper@billionauto.com. in Souix Falls SD. She gave me a list of what vehicles they had coming to the dealership. With shipping I was less than MSRP plus all the dealership fees in Florida. Best part was great communication and they were completely transparent on cost.

After months of research, it came down to a Toyota Highlander or the Telluride. Our experience at Peltier Kia in Tyler, TX, was the best car buying experience I've ever had in 40+ years of car buying.

Professional from start to finish. It was such a good experience, my wife traded in her Camry for a new Cadenza Technology while we were there. It's been two weeks and she's still thrilled with her decision. She likes it better than her Camry and the Avalon.

I just purchased an SX-P that I ordered back on January 17th from East Syracuse Kia. I worked with Dave Pistello. I called on the day they had an open allocation for 2 more SX-P's. He said it should be in around the end of April. He was close....it arrived at the dealership on May 4 LOL. This was by far the easiest, clearest, most transparent car purchase I have ever made. I ordered with options and the car was perfect as delivered. I was charged MSRP, got the financing and the $1000 rebate as I took delivery on May 9. I drove almost 4 hours to pickup the car and the time from arriving at the dealership, turning in my Kia Sportage lease, signing the papers and leaving was barely 30 minutes. East Syracuse Kia also includes a 20 year/200,000 mile warranty at no cost which extends the Kia Powertrain Warranty. They also have the whole "Permasafe Protective Coatings" application happening at the dealership and in the cars...also at no cost. I was such a skeptic from all of the tough stories that others have gone through trying to buy a Telluride. I was waiting for the hidden fee, the added this or that on the final contract...and it wasn't there! No advertising fees...NOTHING!!! MSRP, Tax, NY Registration fees and other small mandatory NY fees....that was it! Lou Fusz St Louis was an A+ experience for us. High volume dealer, didn’t put their dealer sticker on back of our telluride, and finance took our “we don’t do extended warranties” right away. Also didn’t do any 4-square math with us (granted we put down $20k so no need)

I had a great experience with Ray Skillman Kia in Indianapolis. I live in the Cincinnati area and had an order in with a local dealer that had not been accepted yet. I was calling other dealers within a reasonable driving radius to let them know what I was looking for. I had spoke with Keenan Hoffman at Ray Skillman and told him the trim and options I wanted and he said he would keep an eye out for me. I got a text from him this morning that they just got a Telluride with the exact options I wanted. Initially we made arrangements to put down a deposit and drive up to get the car next weekend but since the manager wanted to get the sale done today (last day of the month) they prepared the paperwork for me via call/text and then drove the car right to me. I paid sticker price with no random markups or fees. They really delivered for me - literally. I feel incredibly lucky to have my Telluride (who knows how long my order would have took) and am happy to have done business with them.
How far away are you from Indy? I've been trying to work with them, but they're the ones that wanted to add a few unnecessary markups

What markups did they have? A friend just put a deposit down with them. Thanks!!!

It was like $695 for some kind of 3rd brake light plus $249 for window tint. When I asked if this was necessary they said yes.

The pulse brake light is a ripoff.

I would go elsewhere or tell them they lost a sale.
