Sub MSRP is the next stage with invoice pricing soon to follow. Expect a sudden used inventory market as well.
Time will tell.. we will see.Sub MSRP is the next stage with invoice pricing soon to follow. Expect a sudden used inventory market as well.
I would consider it the other way around. No one is buying cars right now (no demand), so they are cutting supply....Supply is going to be affected, would anticipate a continued inbalance as is with demand still higher than supply.
It’s hard to know, both sides of the equation are changing.I would consider it the other way around. No one is buying cars right now (no demand), so they are cutting supply....

Great time to buy when the world is falling apartIt may be premature to make that call. However, the next 4-8 weeks will likely be a good time to go get good value on other brands.
Here it comes. This was just sent to me by a dealership:
"First, we would like to extend Kia's offer of no payments for 120 days and 0% for up to 72 months (contact us for details)."
"Second, we are excited to let you know we have a "Buy from Home Option". We will work every detail of your new or used car purchase over the phone or via e-mail. After all terms have been met, one of our Sales Consultants will deliver your vehicle to your drive way."
"Third, We are offering Family pricing on every car on the lot, $1000 below dealer's invoice (not including 2020 Telluride).
I predict the last part will change as they grow even more desperate for sales.
If they could just get on with this shut down already, that'd be great. Would love to move on with our lives. Instead, many minivans and SUVs are running around all day taking kids to others houses and hitting up the stores. This won't end with people acting like that unless we find a treatment.2 week shut down for the country coming. These same guys won't be selling anything. They will gladly love to make anything over MSRP. This will continue with the rest of the line probably heavily discounted. Just my thoughts.

Yep. Good Luck with that. The longer it sits there....Just for the heck of it, I reached out to a dealer near me (Butler Kia in St. Louis) to get a quote for an AWD SX with Prestige package that's been on their lot since early February. The MSRP is $48,665. Their price quote was.... drum roll please... wait for it... wait for it... $57,660, not including "dealer prep fees," whatever those are... LOL. I didn't even bother to reply...
