I order a SX-Prestige All Wheel Drive on 12/16/19.
1) I was told it should deliver in April.
2) It was then pushed until May.
3) Then I was told it would deliver July 7 due to Covid delays.
4) The dealership called yesterday and told me it would now be sometime in September before I would get the vehicle and it would now be a 2021 model as they are moving production to next years models.
KIA assigned an Internal
VIN for production back in February.
I can't believe it is taking a domestic plant over 9 months to produce a production vehicle and deliver is now in the next model year.
This vehicle is for my daughter that really wants this. She does not want to look at other products or I would have cancelled this months ago.
I filed an official complaint with KIA Customer Service Yesterday.
Does anyone have any advise as tom how I can get some kind of resolution to this? I feel like I am stuck in a bad movie.
