• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Happy to have gotten 6 weeks of pristine dark miss goodness but alas, today, I found a scratch that is about 3 feet on one of the passenger doors. It's a light scratch but I can see it and I can barely feel it when I run my fingernail across it.

Never had a car that I cared about. Never thought to get a scratch fixed.

Outside of ordering the color match paint pen, what else can I do. Y'all much smarter than me

First, you have to determine whether it is paint related or just clear coat. If it's in the paint, then the pen will help. If it's just clear coat, then buff it and clean it well, and use the clear coat tip of the pen (it's dual sided) to fill in. It may buff out too if it's just in clearcoat.

Post a quality pic of the scratch. Most modern automotive clear coats & paints today are engineered to easily buff / blend. Lots of YouTube content available for DIY.

Thx. Based on both of your feedback and looking at it (car is not here for a pic) I am 99% sure it's clear coat. I will dig up a video on how to buff that out. Thanks again mates!!!

Agreed - polish it and/or try to buff it out. Paint pen will look a lot worse. Do not go
This route. A light scratch is 100X better than a paint pen...
