• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... 27 mpg

That's 7 gallons of gas and you were riding in style. Call that a win-win!!

I’ve been averaging that as my combo number. I don’t drive much stop and go and it’s more 10 mile round trips with a few lights.

If you’re easy on the peasants it is great economy for such a large vehicle.

27 is what I get on my 450 mile runs to Vermont from Pa......very happy!!

SX awd 27 mpg on long trips

At what cruise speed.

I will have to post when I finally get mine. Speed limits are higher here in Texas. 70 MPH on interstates in the city and between 75 and 85 (on the 130 toll road) outside the major metro areas. I typically put my cruise at 8-10 over what ever the posted speed limit is. For our 2011 Odyssey - we get 23 MPG at 85 MPH which is pretty good. Am really curious to see how the Telly does on the same trip.

I have been impressed so far.

I think I was getting 27 mpg around 70 mph and my vehicle is AWD.

This is better than my Volvo S60 could do... its amazing!

Just rolled over 3K today.

TELLURIDE SXP... AWD took a day trip to Getteysburg on Friday. As you see 253 MILE round trip with driving in the park at an estimated 10-20 mph. I am impressedunnamed-1.webp

We just finished a family road trip from central IL to northern MN. Going on average 77mph with the SXP AWD fully loaded with luggage and family....we got 29mpg in the flattest areas of Illinois and right under 25mpg once we got to more hilly areas. I’m thrilled!

We make this trip twice a year (12 hours, we do it in one day). I always feel so fatigued afterwards but the Telluride is so incredibly comfortable I felt great both coming and going!

I am getting ready to pack up and make the trek from NM to No. MI. The best I have gotten, so far, is about 23, on a few short trips and not necessarily trying or in eco. I plan to really monitor the mpg's on this trip, over a few thousand miles, with a Yakima and 5 total passengers. Post it when I get back.

Is anyone calculating off of actual fuel consumption or just the DIC in the dash? Multiple variables to consider for each driver but just wondering why these are so high compared to KIAs advertised ratings?

SX AWD; ~800 mile RT N IL to Minneapolis area; 5 over posted on x-ways (except for construction)(so 75 on interstates, 65-70 on other limited access; 60 on country 2-lane); some local driving; 2 people with long weekend luggage; hauling several boxes of daughter's stuff on the way up; clear weather, hot; AC (front and rear) on.

Averaged 29 per in car computer - based on fuel pumped into the vehicle averaged 28 - which holds true to over all average for 12,000+ at 24.1 per car, 23.2 per receipts.

Saw a bunch of this during the trip :)

31 MPG.webp
