I had an issue with our Genesis G80 Sport and the problem was so new that they did not even have the right tools to perform the work. Took 3 weeks to get the part from overseas in just to do the work. They made the repair over a year ago now and have not had any additional problems. Keep in mind that even if you buy a luxury brand you can get a bad one in the bunch. Even with as much automation goes into vehicle manufacturing there is still a human element to it. Be patient (I had a hard time with this on my Genesis because I was like how the heck do you sale a vehicle and not have the tools to repair it) and it will all work out in the end but still hold them accountable. Thanks for the encouraging info guys. I hope you are right. I still don't understand why they can't tell me
when the part will arrive. They should be able to overnight it from anywhere in the country. Unless it is
coming from Korea. Is the telluride engine used in any other KIA vehicles? One other thing I thought of
though. Did the bad pump leave metal shavings in the engine?
