Is KFOS still supposed to open up Wednesday 7/15?

Can someone explain the ordering process if you don’t already have a 2020 order being converted or haven’t ordered on paper with a dealer already? I was hoping to avoid an order by watching failcat but i haven’t seen much in terms of EX-P FWD yet.

I saw the update on the other thread from @StephenCantrelle.. Does this mean a FWD EX-P (or FWD SX) without Nightfall is a pipe dream right now? No ETA on ordering these? I’m in FL with no need for AWD or Tow (but i DO need Captains chairs) and I’m not finding much “basic” inventory for EX-P or SX yet.
Help me understand!! I’m new to all this!!

We are in for another month of waiting....not to get our cars or ETA - but to see if KIA cares enough about all these long standing sold orders to communicate a status on the prestige trim and order availability on the SX. I'm not in at the six month mark and know nothing. I am #1 at my dealership for an SXP and @StephenCantrelle has been great. But at this point - I am #1 in line waiting for a unicorn. Nothing from KIA as to when we will get the chance to get the cars we ordered many many months ago.
