I'm finally ready to "pull the trigger" and order an gravity gray / gray SXP (without Nightfall). A large Kia dealer in Ohio is telling me that when orders open, he thinks I could probably get it in Sept, maybe October. I just wanted a reality check on this. - does this timeframe seem realistic?

Can confirm now.. no Prestige orders. No EX or SX unless with Nightfall Edition(SX Non Prestige).
This is only if store got any allocation. I am a top 20 store(volume on Tellurides) in the Nation and got no additional allocation of Nightfall. So looks like slim pickings even on Nightfall.

So appears just LX and S open for now.

Stephen (COVID19 aside as that is the major reason for issues although Kia was having issues prior to COVID meeting demand) you dealers must be just shaking your heads on the cluster the Telluride ordering has become.

I'm guessing the supply chain is holding them back on the Prestige package because it makes next to no sense to me that they'd produce Nightfall SXs with none of them being Prestige. I appreciate you informing all of us on this kind of stuff because it helps us realize it isn't necessarily a bogus dealer issue, it's a Kia corporate issue.

Then, at some point in the distant future, someone will call you and be like “hey, do you remember that car you ordered?.....”

I ordered mine in December 2020 and still yet to receive it. Count on 6-10 months.

I'm putting a deposit on it and signing the purchase agreement guys - I'm getting my Telluride!

Sales manager went to the owner to triple check and make sure it's not sold and the guy said it's a sold order since March...

Most likely that's the case.

Dealership owner sold that to a local Doctor...without telling anyone on the floor...not sure why he would be so...secretive about it.

These are customized order i guess. Or at least orders from before. The vin numbers for these 50 are older than the ones created friday.

And I ordered mine on Jan 14th and still no sign of it...no word from dealer, nothing from anyone...good luck

They made it seem like they were doing the deal with me but I have an odd feeling of their buddies was looking for a Telluride and sold it off from under me...

Do you know how long they usually spend on a certain trim? I just placed my order for an EX so would they switch over to producing EX and SX by the time its time for my order to be produced?
