Ordered my Telly today!

I'm excited, even though I know that the wait may possibly be long. Put down a $1000 deposit on a SXP w/Nightfall, Ebony Black with Dune interior. Dealership is selling at MSRP, no markup. It's four hours from me, Hendrick Kia in Cary NC. Hopefully at the end of this I can list them in the Good Dealer discussion but so far so good. Day 1, the wait begins.

Interesting, I just called the dealership you said and I spoke with Jay. They confirm they sell at MSRP. He said they are taking orders for all Tellurides except with Prestige due to shortage of parts. Are you sure it is an SX P the one you order? Who did you spoke with?

Hmmm, my order says Opt 42 but doesn't specifically say Prestige anywhere. Not sure of the different codes but I am dealing with Ivy. We specifically spoke about it being Prestige package due to me really wanting Butterscotch seats but settling for Dune so that I could get the prestige options. I also added mudguards.

I'm jealous, I called Moritz Kia Hurst, here in Texas and he says they cant order the SX-P Nightfall models yet.

Well, we all know that there are layers to this and I am prepared to wait and be patient. The saleswoman was honest and said that just she had about 7 SXP orders ahead of me, so that's not counting other salesmen. Here's to hoping that they have some kind of magic. They are the, if not one of, largest Kia dealers in NC.

Hi I ordered an EX a couple weeks ago and the dealer told me eta would be 4 months. I think it may take longer than that. Did they give you an ETA?

I also ordered my SXP in Wolf Gray Nightfall at Hendrick Kia in Cary. They seem pretty honest and good so far. I ordered last week and was told there were 15 SXP's on order total and I was #3. #1 in line for the wolf gray.

Yeh, it sure is. They seem to be pumping them out at the factory though. They haven't even started making the Wolf Gray ones yet, so I have no idea when I'll get mine.

Who did you place an order with? The person I spoke this morning told me they are not taking SXP orders and is not replying my emails. I am going to call in the morning and ask for someone else.

I placed an order with them a few weeks ago (SX non-P). Ryen told me that they hadn't opened up orders for it yet but that they could order a NE right now if that's what I wanted. Tempting, though hard to justify the extra cost when we decided we didn't need the prestige package. What he said could be accurate in that I have X amount of people ahead of me for ordering otherwise. Hard to tell.

Micky. Be advised though, there are two Hendrick KIA’s, both in the NC area.
