I just graduated college a year early with tons of scholarships, and I immediately began a job when I graduated, so I have some financial room to buy a nice car for my wife and I. My 2001 Ford Explorer Sport college beater is about to go kaput, so I'm looking to get a Telluride within the next 6 months. My family is in the generational habit of buying a solid car and daily-ing that bad boy for 20+ years, so that's my plan with the Telluride. I'm in NoVa, and markups are from $5,000-10,000, so I'm mostly on here at the moment to find some insight on paying MSRP or below on a Telluride (preferably not from the lot, we'd like to build ours!). The trims I'm interested in are the EX and SX (obviously I'm dying to spec out an SX, but my wife is attempting to be a voice of financial restraint in my ear). If anybody has tips for a first-time car buyer or how to buy below/at MSRP, please let me know!
