• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Hi,

proud owner (for 4 days now) of a 2021 sx. One thing I’m trying to figure out is how to get the screen to go back to the 3 panel display after you dig into any of the media buttons. Hitting home seems to just bring me to all the icons and I can pick the widgets to use but don’t see a way to get to that easily. I like the view that is map/audio/weather as the audio pane is car play friendly too

When you hit home and then you see all icons, try to swipe screen to the right by holding finger on screen and move it to the right

Don't beat yourself up. Took us a couple of months to figure out how to get the compass up there and also how to set the cruise without the car spacing option. Learn something new almost weekly.

You mean the compass in the main display scrren (along with map etc) ? How did you do that ?

I did it by scrolling up on the right side of the screen that usually has the temperature. See if that works. You can then push on the small gps map on the left side and it will go to twothirds of the screen and the compass stays in the right third. You just have to play with the display buttons the screen to get what you want. The pages in the big owners manual give some insight but are not very intuitive.
Good luck.

Presumably this is what is being referred to – split screen. On the right side, you can cycle through map, weather, compass, audio info, driver talk, rear climate, etc.

This is most useful with a map or radio/audio on the left, or even (with the latest navigation update and later enabling split screen in device settings) with Apple CarPlay/Android Auto.
