similar feeling here. Place an order in may. ETA has jumped around from July to August to Sept 13 to Sept 5. Checked w/ dealer today they say no changes but they dont have a vin either.Good lord, I'm getting an early July dealer allocation EX-P and my ETA went from 8/26 to 9/12 to 10/1. I'm afraid to ask for another update.
Done. I'm a little rambunctious today because my dealer actually had 3 cars show up on Failcat today. All Nightfall...Join the crowd! FYI - you should add your ETA dates to your signature so we can easily compare dates. Saw someone else had done that so I added it to mine. I am like you...slipped into October. Given how strong production numbers are these days - I think KIA has made the decision to limit how much production goes to sold orders. I think they are prioritizing dealer inventory which is why our dates keep slipping. At these build rates and our cars already in KFOS - we should be getting are cars in early Sept...not October.

What trim did you order?
About 10 hours each way. Kind of looking forward to a road trip though--it's been a while! How far are you driving for that Telly?
You all have to remember that Nightfall wasn’t just some recent decision they made at the expense of your custom order.
They probably designed and planned it over a year ago, the sourced and contracted on the parts for it 6-12 months ago, then received them and had them sitting around all spring when the factory shut down. They had to get that stuff out as fast as possible to stay on track with inventory management, marketing, and financial plans. A necessary trade off to keep the business moving.
I think you only ordered a couple days before I did. I was told mine probably wouldn't make it into KFOS this round, so sounds like you may have just missed the cutoff. Crossing fingers for September. Congrats!Found out today that my order has been entered into KFOS but don't yet have a VIN or delivery date. I will take this as great news today.
BUT, Kia knew a year ago that they could not meet the demand for the 2020 Telly model offerings. They obviously saw the volumes being entered into KDealer. I say they have done a really poor job of managing the demand for the Telly. A small number on this forum compared to total buyers so most Telly buyers don't even know what Kia is doing. I sure hope the vehicle does not disappoint me as much as Kia Corporate does. You all have to remember that Nightfall wasn’t just some recent decision they made at the expense of your custom order.

One thing is certain this vehicle will not disappoint...it's the waiting that is disappointing...but there are much bigger problems in the world right now, right!?BUT, Kia knew a year ago that they could not meet the demand for the 2020 Telly model offerings. I believe I possess the current record. Today I received my first ETA . What makes it special is the the ETA date is 4 days shy of being exactly 1 year after the order date.
Can anyone beat a 1 year wait?
Since I am getting mine shipped, I am just hoping there are no serious factory defects...like a drivetrain vibration. Then I will have deal with a local Kia dealer. Hope their service dept doesn’t suck as much as the sales dept! One thing is certain this vehicle will not disappoint...it's the waiting that is disappointing...but there are much bigger problems in the world right now, right!?
