• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Once I get my Telly, I'll be able to take a similar picture! Husband has a 2019 Stinger G2 in panthera metal, and I'll be getting an SXP in everlasting silver (ETA 11/18). They're gonna look dang gorgeous together!

Sans your Honda, looks like you're a Hyndai / Kia family. Right on! This will be our first Kia, but I've always loved the Stinger.

I had issues with my Hyundai, but I am absolutely, 100% in love with my Kia Niro. I would keep it until it breaks, but it's not quite large enough for when our family grows. Once I've got my Telly, I'm sure I'll be in it for a good 10 years! We've had great experiences with both sales and service at our local dealership, too.

My family (folks) have always been Hyundai fans - Hyundai Excel hatchback back in the day, Elantra, Santa Fe, and I think they're soon to pick up another Santa Fe. They've always been pretty good vehicles. My own family also had an '02 Civic LX. It was a great car. Never once did I think I'd get a Kia. But things change! We'll probably have the Telly for 10 years as well.

When I first got my Kia, my dad grumped for ages about how many issues I'm going to have and how cheap they are. Things have changed since Kia first launched! And he didn't realize that I'd been driving a vehicle by the same umbrella company for a while, so I got off without a reprimand with that one.

He just got a new vehicle last year and gave some very serious thought to a Kia Optima and ended up getting a Hyundai Sonata. I've broken him and he hasn't even realized it! :sneaky:

haha this is great!!
Over dinner -
Dad - ‘hey I got a Hyundai today’
Kids - ‘you know kia and Hyundai are, like, one in the same, right?’

Not exactly in the wild as it was at the dealer, but other than this one I've never seen an Everlasting Silver in person. These pictures (and any other picture I've seen) don't do the color justice -- I love how it changes depending no light conditions and proximity to the vehicle. Interesting to see it next to my (now sold) Audi in Dolphin Grey, as a reference point.

I've never been a silver fan, but I do like how this silver reflects a 'blueish' hue. In comparison to your Audi, is that an actual gray or is it a silver? I wonder if the difference we see is really the result of the new paint of the telly.

What’s the matter with them?

Nothing. It was more about the tire than the rim, but As a personal preference, I prefer tires with a lower aspect ratio. With respect to this vehicle, I think a bigger rim / lower profile tire ‘looks’ better.
There are plenty of comments on here about ride quality and tire / rim combinations that, taken into consideration, I bet the ‘standard’ 18 rim / tire provides a comfortable ride. My comment was purely about the aesthetics associated with the pairing.

I had to do a bit of driving today so I saw four in the wild today. I normally see one or two a day. I've been paying more attention since this thread popped up and I think I've only gone one day since without seeing one. There's one a block over from me but I rarely see it. It's usually in the garage. I did drive by the dealer tonight and they had three so if you wanna count those, I saw seven today.

@NDBlackEX - it’s like when you get fixated, that’s all your eyes search for on the road. I’ve been seeing more and more also. I don’t know whether that’s because there’s more on the road or I’m more aware but I see a few every day now and it’s great!

I agree with you! It’s more aesthetically pleasing.

So happy to hear you say that. I ordered an everlasting silver sight unseen and have been hearing different opinions. By your photos it looks amazing to me. Cannot wait till October.

Yes, I really like the way the SX 20s look, but the EX-P 20s are a little to blingy for me. I think if I got some I would have to paint them black. I am actually looking forward to getting some slightly wider black 20s in the future...and using the 18s for winter tires.

@alexdrums - As far as the rims themselves are concerned, the EX are my least favorite. TBH, your profile picture is what reminds me regularly how pleased I am that that switched up the rims on the EX-P to the S rims. I even like the LX ones better. And I do love the black SX ones but I’m thinking that I’ll like the contrast of the brushed look against the darker paint. I think they go well with the satin trim. Just if the impression I get from photos. Maybe when I’m staring at it in my driveway I’ll think differently. But thinking about changing them out is out of the question - the wife isn’t letting any mods be done to it anytime soon. Not even Tint.
