• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Those are the ultrasonic (and ultra sensitive) sensors for the rear occupant alert. Detects movement in the cabin.

If you have that enabled, they are the #1 contributor to phantom alarms because people don’t understand the system.

Thank you!!!....damn, wish they were reading lights i could activate-this vehicle with captain chairs screams for reading lights:)

Not a light. It's the sensors to determine if a child (or anyone) was left in the vehicle after locking the doors. I don't have the manual handy right now, but it's a safety feature.
