Tough to say as we don't make up the entire Kia community on these boards. I would say they would be able to clear out the logjam in a few days or maybe a week.
Just updated my signature - I didn't realize I didn't have that included. My order was also entered into KFOS in July.
While I did not change my order to nightfall in hopes that it would arrive sooner, it was certainly a consideration in hopes that it would not push my deliver back the 5 weeks between when I first ordered and the change order. After seeing some members here post photos of their Telly with a 2" lift and bigger tires, I just couldn't help myself!For the record, I wasn't even interested in the Telluride until the Nightfall. I love blacked-out appearance packages. Chrome to me is gross. Do I love the wheels? Nah. But I actually do love all the rest including the grill. I know you weren't speaking specifically about anyone, just in general. But, I do believe a lot of us actually love the Nightfall and are not just abusing Kia's faulty priority system. And I agree, Everlasting Silver in Nightfall is sexy AF
I got lucky when I contacted my dealer the day before KFOS opened in July. They only had one other order ahead of mine so my order essentially went straight into KFOS.
How is this even possible other than Black Copper making them more money.

You've got to be getting close. Could just be color batching. Who knows, since Failcat is delayed a day or two, you may even get the call this week.
Since Aug 24th, 75% of the SX AWD P/T (non-NF) builds have been Black Copper. Only a total of 36 vehicles (with this configuration) have been built during that time in the other colors.
If I look at all SX AWD with Prestige (with or without Tow) (non-NF) during that same time period, it is 79% Black Copper, with only 40 vehicles that have been built during that time in the other colors.

I think I'm in the same boat as you were. I have an Order placed 2/14 of this year SX/PT Copper/Dune; I am happy with Muncie/Lucas, they get back to me within minutes (I e-mail him every 6 weeks or so); last contact early September, I had moved from 21st sxp oldest to 12th sxp oldest, but I'm starting to think that big move was because more people are switching out to the nightfall, so I'm artificially moving up in line. Way back when i saw the writing on the wall because of these forums, I planned on delivery around Christmas or so; it looks now like it could be longer, I'll wait it out a few more months and take solace in forums like this where i know it isn't just me. If we get to Christmas with no end in sight, I might move on (or I might just continue to wait - what's another six months
Yes, July allocation. That was the first opening for my dealer going back to March I believe.
At least that gives you some solace as to you why they may have jumped over you - purely a decision by Kia. Some of their decisions are absolutely head scratching.
