If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Non Nightfall SX Prestige Waiting Room

An interesting side note...I have also been watching the inventory on cars.com for Gravity Gray SX AWD (not all are prestige - but cars.com doesn't have that filter) and inventory has risen dramatically. Most (especially the ones that don't have pictures) are probably sold units. But the ones that have 30 pictures attached are most likely not sold units. Why go to that trouble. There are seven Gravity Gray SX AWD with full pictures listed. About half are SXP. If you add the ones without pictures and the ones that are NFE - there are 71 showing on cars.com. So inventories are slowly beginning to rise.

If my memory serves me, seems like there have been some hefty delays with vehicles going up to your neck of the woods as of late. Hopefully those are just isolated incidents. Stuff seems to fly into TX. You never know. Mine came weeks early to MN.

Most recently to my dealerships - trucks have been arriving pretty quickly after the VIN shows up on failcat.

Yeah I hear ya. Hopefully that 3 weeks timeframe has enough time baked in for any delays.

Also assuming that length of distance requires trains...I'm telling you... get me a VIN and I'll be fine. It will come when it comes...just want that little bit of satisfaction.

Yeah, like I said, it changes your perspective when you get to that point. No more worrying about shut downs or supply issues.
It'll be worth the wait.

I know mine is arriving by rail to Denver, then trucked 45 minutes to dealership. It's interesting seeing all the in transit dates with the corresponding ETA dates. Like mine in transit on the 21st (could be earlier but this was date I asked for status and was told in transit), with an ETA of 10/4. I guess 2 weeks isn't too long going from GA to CO, but have seen some arrive faster from GA to up in the NE. As long as it doesnt get hung up at some random rail yard or something.

Order was accepted into KFOS today. Initial ETA 12/1. Each step is a new adventure.
Sept allocation - 12/1 ETA!

Kia must be getting SX manufacturing back on track...I sure hope so for the future orders.

I'm a July allocation with a mid November ETA. Come on baby... maybe the emails and calls are helping...most likely not but maybe?

@StephenCantrelle told me a couple of weeks ago when the most recent allocations came out that there were no restrictions on SXP orders and that the number of allocations were increasing. So KIA must be expecting some stability on the manufacturing side. Also as their marketing campaign gains steam and the most recent batch of articles on the Telluride feature the Nightfall Edition - that is where new interest will be focuses. So they may be getting close to having things dialed in. Once all these late 2019 and early 2020 orders get filled - then wait times will be down to 2-3 months.

We (and I am talking to myself here) need to remember that when the telluride was released and every automotive publication, website and Youtube channel was reviewing the telluride - they were driving SXP models - which focused demand in that area - demand that KIA wasn't prepared for. Now they are pushing NFE models out for reviews...so in a sense they are shaping demand. I would be curious from dealers how many people are showing up asking about the NFE these days since that is what is currently being featured in print and digital media advertisements.

I'm glad to see some of these non-Nightfall orders getting placed.

I can't imagine how excruciating the wait has been for some of you but I've been following this thread with major anxiety waiting to see if @MarcinTexas gets his order into production.

Personally, I blame NDBlackEX...

Will @MarcinTexas get a vin this week?

Will he ever get a vin?

Will old age get him first?

Will @StephenCantrelle give him the vin before it hits Failcat or make him stew an extra day or two?

Stay tuned to every thread on this website for the exciting conclusion!

Still not one GWP SXP without NF. I can only hope that mine will be the first one built.
haha, yep, I noticed that too, not ONE, how can that even be? I see them all over the place on the road. In my case I don't see any SXP with PRE shown at all.

I couldn't take it anymore. I had time on my hands at work yesterday. I fired off a letter to Ho-Sung Song, President and CEO in Seoul, Korea and cc'd 3 execitives at Kia Motors North America. Also sent cc's copies to MotorTrend, NACTOY, Jalopnik and Car and Driver. I mentioned that our calls to Kia North America complaining of SXP ordered in December last year are going ignored. I explained that Future customers, who have put deposits down starting last year, right up until the Nightfall Edition was released, deserve to have their cars built before anyone else. I quoted their own words from their 2020 Investors Report saying how Customer Service and Customer Loyalty is Kia's main goal this year. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE EVER. We'll see if it gets any traction. I'm sure it will delay my Telly even further, as retrobution!!
Probably get a generic answer from the chief of complaint responses, Mr. Oh-Screw U!

You may be able to find other trim levels or an SXP w/ NF in GWP but any white SXP Tellurides w/o NF on the roads today are the old paint color - Snow White Pearl. However, I still can't believe not a single one has been built yet.

I just got mine today report today and it looks like ours are both being built as we speak!

Cool. Considering they are the same interior and exterior color - I bet they roll down the line together in the same batch!!

I think it's also due to having ordered the same options as all of the SX AWD P (non-NF) built today (which I expect to carry over tomorrow) included the tow package.
