• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... The view on the front and rear camera is excellent and I use them all the time for parking in the garage or reversing into a parking spot, wouldn’t it be great if these could also be used as recording dash cams save having to put something on the dash or windshield

Agree! I am surprised that the car manufacturers haven't done that. That being said, I bought a Cobra "Road Scout" for my Telly.

I think it's pretty well established that there are really wonky laws regarding dash cams & recording and I think Kia just doesn't want to deal with differing laws in differing regions on this one. I'm sure they could probably make you sign some kind of waiver or something, but recording (audio and/or video) laws at least in the US are kind of all over the place. That would be my guess as to why it's not offered.

Not only KIA but all other manufacturers as well......that being said, the tech is already built into most cars and could easily be tied to the "dash cam" concept!

What would be interesting is sentry mode on Telluride. There is already camera all around. Anyone know if there is a system that you can tap into the camera and record it?
