Good Dealer Dealings - List Your Good Dealer Experience

I'm fairly new to the board but have lurking for a little bit over the past couple of weeks. Not really looking forward to the new car buying process based on some initial interaction with dealerships in my area. I have read the positive reviews for Muncie Kia so I decided to send Lucas an email last but haven't heard back quite yet. For those who have worked with him and Muncie before, is it best to call them or is he pretty good about getting back via email?
I emailed him Monday and, even though he was on a family day off which I didn't know about, he replied. Very responsive.

I recommend Rob Bello, sales manager Kings Kia Cincinnati Ohio. Transparent, provided accurate delivery forecast. Took 90 days for delivery. Bought at MSRP, refundable deposit, few dealers take orders at MSRP. I live in Houston Texas. Insane markups in Texas for existing inventory range from $4000-9000 over MSRP. Could not find a dealer within 500 miles willing to accept an order at MSRP. I WOULD DEFINITELY BUY FROM THEM AGAIN. ALL PAPERWORK COMPLETED BEFORE TAKING DELIVERY. IN AND OUT IN 15 MINUTES. FEW DEALERSHIPS OFFER THAT TYPE OF EXPERIENCE...DRAMA IN PURCHASE, DRAMA IN PAPERWORK, ETC.

Yea, they are probably the best Kia dealer in the Cincinnati area.

I am guessing you have heard back by now, but Lucas and the whole team are very responsive.

I did. I sent a follow up email and it was a situation where my email went into his spam folder so he got back to me right away today. He was helpful and informative with what I wanted to know.

I get to post my good dealer review... James Titchenell at Peak Kia North in Windsor, CO was awesome to work with. Sold at MSRP with a little higher doc fee (695) that I was okay with because I received great service. He even met me on his day off to make sure everything went well when I got there. I flew from DFW to DEN to pick it up. ($40 plane ticket and a couple tanks of gas saved me money)

Lucas is great, he always answers his emails, or phone calls. We have been dealing with him since May, and have never gone more than a day without hearing from him answering any questions we have, usually it's within a few minutes.
Ditto about Lucas and Jason. They have been great and responsive.

Bought our 2021 Telluride yesterday and the whole experience dealing with Howie Weiss at Motion Kia went smooth. Right to the point no hidden fees or games and honest.

In Hackettstown, NJ? Been curious about them, as they’re actually the closest dealer to me. Are they still charging MSRP? (I know they were at the very beginning.) Reasonable doc fee? Hasn’t been much talk about them on the boards in a long time.

We picked up our SX from @Moe at Hilltop Kia yesterday in Richmond, CA, and it was easily the best car buying experience I have ever had by a long shot. From start to finish I was out of the dealership in less than an hour. No pressure, no hidden fees or upsells. A completely straightforward Telluride purchase at MSRP. In California nonetheless, which is pretty much unheard of. The paperwork was all done electronically, and I was handed a thumb drive at the end instead of 4 feet of messy contracts. An impressive touch.

Moe was impressively prompt and helpful throughout the 2.5 month wait, and even went the extra mile to prep the car for delivery in what was a borderline unreasonable amount of time. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ all the way! For those interested, Moe's cell is 510-230-9198.

This vehicles are popular as you know most dealers were marking up 3k to 5k. Motion Kia was fair and offered s great price on our trade in. When we ordered ours they were unsure if it would be a 2020 or 2021. We got the 2021. Deal with Howie if you go there.

Just starting the process ... any recommendations for the Milwaukee area?

When it comes time to call a dealer do I ask to speak to a sales manager or just default to whom ever they connect me with?

Appreciate any response. I know i have work ahead of me.

I know it's about 3 hours away but I would highly recommend Finnin Kia in Dubuque, IA. They sell at MSRP with a doc fee of less than $100. They have had more Tellurides allocated to their dealership than ALL Wisconsin dealers according to Failcat. From what I've gathered, they haven't had more people in line for orders than what they've been allocated each month so I would guess you would be able to make one of their allocated orders this month - this is a pretty big deal when ordering. More importantly, they have been very transparent and responsive to all of my questions throughout the process. Ask for Keri, she's been awesome.

Ditto for Lucas again, gets back to me within an hour of any e-mail I sent him. Then last week, he called out of the blue and previous buyer with same colors/trim levels had backed out, I get to move up about 2-3 months, eta 11-18, fingers crossed the VIN shows on Black Copper Tuesday.

Bob Sight KIA, Matt Rodecap salesman. Independence MO. WOW! Cannot tell you how happy I am with my new Telluride and the experience!! I am from Des Moines IA and the local Des Moines dealer had a $3k addendum on all Tellurides. I sent emails to every dealer within 3 hours of me explaining I wanted to order a new Telly with NO mark up. NO bs adds....just MSRP. He immediately emailed me back and explained no BS and only fee is doc fee at a very fair $199.99. I agreed and sent $500 deposit on a 2021 SXP Black Copper nightfall. Approx. 4 months later it arrived!! Small dealer so small allocations. I drove down and paid MSRP plus $199.99 and thats IT!!!!!!! Not even tax!!! MO tax is higher than IA so I saved that expense and will pay tax and registration in IA when I register it. I cannot recommend Matt enough. Call him. Well worth it. I will be adding pics later. Have some fun adds that will be different than than the normal pics...once done...😁

For those in Seattle area, Lee Johnson Kia in Kirkland, WA is doing MSRP on any Telluride Orders, w/ $1,000 refundable deposit. Just ordered our SX Prestige from them today.
Hey nieburdd, do they put in writing that the deposit is refundable? What time frame did they give you?

We just bought our Kia Telluride yesterday 10/11 at Kia Downtown Los Angeles, CA for MSRP less $500 rebate for financing.

We purchased a 2021 Kia Telluride in EX Trim with Glacial White Pearl & Light Grey Interior. This is the only combination my wife wanted since it had the bench seating and light interior.

I negotiated via chat on and off for a week or two and watched this VIN since it popped up on Failcat on 9/24.

They did not try to upsell me on anything but lured me into financing for the rebate since I was willing to pay all cash.

Good luck to you all.
