• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Is there a trick to opening the compartment cover? I have tried pressing everywhere I can find with various pressure and can’t seem to get it open.

No tricks. Just press down in the middle of the metal-looking strip toward the bottom of it and it should pop open. That is assuming you haven’t stuffed something in there that is blocking the mechanism, then you’ll have to be a little more aggressive with it.

Nothing is in it, because I can’t get it open. I’ll keep trying.

Might be a flaw that needs to be addressed under warranty.

I just received my 2021 Telluride SX, and I have the opposite problem of Marie1. The lid for the Wireless Smart Phone Charger compartment won't stay closed. I gently pull the lid down, but as soon as I let go, the lid goes right back up.

You have to push it down, basically the same motion as when you open it.

You will push further down then you would think necessary and then it will spring back up and be closed.
