• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Anyone else? If I open my driver window as I’m driving down the highway. And try to put it back up, it won’t go up and seal shut. I’ve tried rolling it all the way down and then up.. but still catches ( I guess that’s how to describe it). If I slow down to under 75 mph, I can get it to seal 🤔

Try cracking one of back windows to relieve some pressure and see if it closes then. Sorry, this is all I have as a suggestion

glass mechanisms are protected. Telluride has very peculiar / specific aerodynamics, i as an aviation expert say. And of course, very sensitive protection, you need to reduce the pressure by reducing the speed or opening another glass. An hour later I leave the city, go along the highway - I'll try it like mine.

There is an old thread about this......

140 km/h works, closes without problems, tried all 4.

Lol. I was in the technology thread and I did a search. If you are concerned, you could have posted a link
I'm not concerned because it has been answered before nor am I willing to do work for people when there is a search function that when you put in two keywords your answer would have shown up. To use an old adage, I'll teach you to fish - try the terms "window seal" in the search box. You would have found your answer.

I just lower the passenger window a little and put them up at the same time and seems to alleviate the pressure problem.

I drove form MN to FL for the first time in my 2021 Telluride last week and I had the same problem with the drivers side window. Rolled it down and when i tried to roll it back up it would go to the top and then back off a few inches. Had to drive 30 minutes with annoying wind noise till I could get to a safe spot to stop. I was able to get the window up by holding the button and putting inward pressure on the window. I would like to think that i could drive at freeway speeds and not worry about wether or not my window will close.

I asked the Kia dealer about it, he said to roll down the back a bit to reduce the pressure. But that doesn’t work either. I had originally was guessing it was at speeds over 75mph, but it happened to me yesterday going 60 something.. when I took my foot off the gas, it worked 🙄. What an odd issue!

It is not correct to look only at the speed of the car, here the wind plays an even greater role. How much windy and in which direction. If your window doesn’t close: open the sunroof, close the window, close the sunroof. Or simply take your foot off the gas pedal and lift the glass at the same time.

Thanks for the info. Sounds like what I thought was a uncommon issue isn’t so.
