The guy that Western gave you info is a close person friend of mine that I have known over 12 years, and have eaten at his home, so I can tell you can be trusted 100%.

I am under the impression that Tuxmats are already available for the telluride in both formats (7 and 8 passengers).

Also in my personal opinion, that protection package is not worth it. Just make sure you read the conditions carefully and see what is actually covered.

Been in the market for a while now for a Telluride. Bought one last April but took so long to deliver I ended up getting my deposit back. I'm from Ontario and have been in contact with one of the dealerships. They told me today that they finally received specs for the Canadian model.

Below is his email. Looks like Canada is getting shafted once again. Anyone else have any other info?

Specs just got announced (EX, SX and SX Limited Nappa) with no changes to content/features. There are a couple new colour options. Pricing to follow once confirmed.

No Black-out model yet, but my rep says it is still a rumour around the head office. Likely not right away though.

I ordered the black Nighskye edition Sept 8, delivered yesterday oct 15th. 5 weeks to arrive which is pretty good.

I can't believe KIa Canada is not adopting the 20" black wheel like the US . When I was hotly pursuing purchasing a Telly last year and couldnt get the black wheel I contacted the VP Marketing here and got some BS response about lack of wheel supply to meet the need for the CDN market , it would streamline production to reduce wheel options between the 2 countries ............................

Just for context, you are quoting a very old message, and was before the Nightsky's were released/announced for Canada.

When he posted that, OEM black rims were not available.

Hi guys, newbie here. I'm in the market for 8 seaters and really torn between the Palisade vs Telluride.
The good thing about Palisade is i can get 3k off MSRP for Luxury trim and no waiting time vs Telluride, however the Telluride look much better outside.
Just wondering for Canuck felows if anyone order recently and how long you guys have to wait?
I'm in Pickering, Ontario.

If I get the NightFall I will be getting new wheels installed prior to delivery and will sell the NF wheels ....................

4 weeks is great, the Kia Scarborough told me I have to wait 3 months lol.

you live a lot closer to the factory so I would assume something similar for you , I know production priority is on NF and SXLs ( higher margin and demand )

I ordered the night sky edition. 5 weeks to arrive which is not bad from what I’ve seen in some cases. The nappa seats take a lot longer.

The NF/NS wheels grow on you once you get them. They are no where near as bad/ugly as our American friends think they are, they were just spoiled with the black SX wheels.

Photos don't do them justice IMO.

I bought a nice set of what wheels (well nice to me anyways) for winter and will keep the NF/NS ones for summer.

Thanks , but I spent an hour looking at the wheel and It is not something I like , I will be selling them , I like the US black 20 style better and will get something as close to that as possible , I' really want the Nappa leather but I know I can live without it , but the lighter headliner isnt something easy to my mind about , Kia Canada are bone heads !

Hopefully you hear some good news. I ordered mid September and I am still awaiting a VIN. Though the sales manager I was working with told me that someone ordered the same build as me (NF & GWP) three days prior and just got their "order filled" and would be expected in two weeks time from Georgia.

I am just hoping I get the car by the time December rolls around.

I called my dealer this week and she said I wouldn't get a VIN until it came into Toronto. From there, they ship it up to North Bay (about 3hrs North of T.O). It's been 4.5 weeks (sept. 14)and there's been no news. I assume you didn't get a Nightfall?
