What did you pay for your KIA Telluride?

So do you negotiate for MSRP or invoice? I want to purchase or lease (haven't decided yet) an SX Prestige Nightfall edition. We went to a dealer yesterday and he said that would be about $60K! I was like you are crazy@ I'm still in a lease til June but lknow we want the Telluride. He asked how much I want my payments to be and I was trying to stay in mid $500-$600s. I hate having to buy a car it takes all day and I never know how much to put down or if I'm getting a good deal. I wish I knew what a good price would be for this package.

You quoted a post that was 1.5 yrs old. There’s a lot of good info on the site and from that you can get a better estimate for what cost looks like.
That said, With this vehicle and trim package you’re after, shoot for the MSRP you see on the kia telluride build site.

The going rate for a Telluride is MSRP or above. I’ve never bought at MSRP or MSRP+, only at invoice or below. So my answer to your question is that you shoot to negotiate below invoice....for other vehicles....or this one a year or two from now.

To save yourself time AT the dealer, for this vehicle, you should shoot to find a dealer who sells at MSRP BEFORE even going. Call around and use this site to do your homework

I have actually talked to several southern CA dealership who were adamant that I did not have an SX on order at MSRP from a dealership in CA. So much so that I had to end one conversat

You will eventually get what want especially at the end of the month. I picked a SXP for MSRP and I got $500 of MSRP. There was absolutely no way I would pay over MSRP. I normally don't pay MSRP but this vehicle will be hot for awhile. You have to catch the dealer at the right time and not seem to desperate.
I think at this point, unless we were to wait, MSRP is the price we will pay. If there an

I agree. I have never bought at MSRP, but in this case, I ordered at MSRP and I feel like I will be getting a "good deal". Hopefully, there will be some kind of incentive when it comes in, but I doubt it and if not, I'll still be fine with the price.

I talked to 3 different dealerships here in CT and they all have markups - $3500-5000. Thats throwing away money, I am looking daily for mine but really leaning towards waiting until after Nov and see how supply/demand is...hate throwing away money like that.
Not sure if you’ve been able to find anything since this post but did you try Executive in Wallingford. They used to sell 1% under msrp but last I heard they were now at msrp. Worth a shot, PM me with any specific questions or who to talk with if you’re still interested.

Yes and they are willing well at least they were a month ago to let me order w/o markup with 6-8 month wait, no discount though. I havent gone thru w/ it yet. Im still reluctant on price. Thinking some of the demand will die with Kias new Sorento next month, expecially if those are available, ppl may jump on that as its a lot less and sure dealerships will be pushing that.

Did the negotiation this past weekend - we ended up agreeing to $1500 over MSRP for an S model. They started at 10% ($3800/$3900). I had an appointment to drive the Palisade that afternoon. I went in saying to myself I wouldn't go $1 over MSRP. It basically came down to how much did my wife and I prefer the Telluride and putting a number on it. Also the value of our time. I could have spent the next week trying to find someone in the Chicago area not charging over MSRP, but no telling how long that would take or even how realistic it was. They did push us to leave the table - insisting on $1750 and met us at our $1500 number before we left. In hind sight I wish I would have tried to at least get something for the $ - like I'll buy the paint warranty I don't want that your finance guy is going to hard sell me on instead of the markup. I do justify it a bit as this particular dealer extends the drivetrain warranty to a lifetime warranty. They had one with the exact specs we wanted (ebony black, AWD) on the way already - we pick it up early Nov.

Another tip for those shopping - I basically saved myself the markup by knowing their financing better than they did. Their bank has a sweet spot on the Telluride where they offer 1.9% vs 2.9% (for those with a credit score over 720) if you go to a 66 month plan. So don't do 72 months if you can avoid it.

Ordered at MSRP with a few add on features.

SXP w/Tow
Lighted Sill plates
Floor mats
Cargo mat
Tint on the front two windows

After sales tax, title and fees - total drive out is $52,708.39 - pick it up on Saturday morning.

The most I have ever paid for a vehicle...but feel really fortunate to have gotten my vehicle at MSRP.

Greetings everyone!

We just bought our Nightfall (NF) Telluride SX w/ Prestiege pkg. yesterday.

After researching for a replacement SUV, the Telluride met all of our needs. We went in with the expectation of purchasing an EX but then moved to the SX. Then slowly, we started looking for an SX w/ Prestige pkg. We really didn’t have any intrest in the NF edition but after looking for nearly six weeks with almost no success, we finally stumbled across a Telluride SX w/ Prestige pkg about 1.5 hours away. I had searched dealers as far as four hours from our home.

It did have the NF pkg which I didn’t want but I was tired of looking. I had looked at SX w/ only Prestige pkgs at other dealers that had MSRP‘s w/i $300-$400 of the cost of the one we were considering.

So with our $400 Military Discount we got it at $48.6ish (w/o fees/taxes, etc...) Every sales person was very professional, but I could tell from all of them there was no negotiating off of MSRP. I even had one email me all of their SX’s were $3000 above MSRP and were going to keep them at that price for now.

I did have a little bit of heart ache with the cost and inability to negotiate even a slightly better price, but so far I have been EXTREMELY satisfied with my experience with Kia, the employees and of course, the Telluride!

My Telluride is coming in a week from Saturday (9/5). It's a White with grey interior SX P with interior lighting and tow package a -nd the MSRP is $49,300. The dealer is selling it to me for MSRP - Costco pricing that takes off $800-$1200.
Where? Hard to find a place that will honor Costco pricing on the tellys.

We purchased our SX Prestige yesterday at MSRP, $49,675, in Salinas, CA. It is Ebony Black with Dune Brown seats and towing package, plus floor mats, cargo net, interior lighting and mud guards. We were actually looking for SX P in Dark Moss with the Dune Brown seats, but compromised on the exterior color and added features to get the vehicle at MSRP. We had started our search in the San Jose area, but dealers there are hiking up the prices by about 10K.

According to the Salinas dealer, MY Kia, they are one of only two dealerships in CA that are selling at MSRP. I had asked them earlier if ordering was possible, but they aren't taking any at this time. Our vehicle had arrived two days earlier and was actually "sold" to someone else who had pre-ordered, but they decided not to take it because it wasn't quite what they were looking for, or something like that. We happened to show up just at the right time.

It's an awesome vehicle, and is quite elegant in black; but it will be a chore to keep it clean.
To the best of my knowledge, this is true. Also, Hilltop Kia in Richmond

I was lucky enough to reserve one with Salinas. Can you explain your experience working with them, process, pricing, etc. Thank you and congratulations.

Kia of Muncie (Indiana) honors the Costco discount, we have placed an order with them, they are GREAT to work with.
They are great to work with. Depending on the trim, the wait is not bad. You can’t get better value in the country!

We don't want/or need delivery until after the first of the year, my wife has a Lincoln MKC that is leased until March, I told Lucas our situation, and he promised it wouldn't be delivered until the new year, my wife is excited, and I might be a little, LOL

EX AWD premium pck moss green in Madison heights Michigan, 42k MSRP. Brand new dealership opened this week and they got sent 22 tellurides. Great experience they tried telling me they were selling at $2k over msrp and we said no way...they called back saying they would sell at msrp. I’m sure they will be out of tellurides by next week once word gets out ;)

Ordered at MSRP from Nutley Kia, NJ.

I was told today there is not 1.9% financing. I pick up my Telluride tomorrow. But when I look at the National Kia site it says there is. My credit is over 800. Am I missing some fine print somewhere?

We got 1.9% last night. Def is available until 11/02! Credit is 802. You aren’t missing anything in fine print.
