• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... I just had my first service at the local Kia dealership and when I went to work the next morning, when it is still dark, I noticed that the headlights and tail lights were not coming on. Has anyone had that happen to them ? Turn signals work and brake lights work, just no tail lights or headlights.

Silly question, but are your lights even on? They probably turned them off.

OK, silly answer back, I didn't know you could turn them off, and why would they for a service ? How do you turn them back on ?

Turn your headlights back to automatic. The dealership probably turned them off.

The dealership probably turned them on manually to make sure all your lights were working. Then they didn't turn them back to automatic. The switch is on your turn signal stalk. Just twist it to auto.

The left stalk has a dial at the end. Off, auto, parking, and on. Probably switch it back to auto.

They would turn it off because they don’t want to be distracted by bright lights when your vehicle is inside and on.
