Lev Kia is killin' it!

Looks like my VIN was finally created over the weekend (confirmed with stephen). Unfortunately, ETA dropped from 11/23 to 12/7. Hopefully it jumps again back in the other direction. Also, mine also had the floor mats added but I'm not going to worry about that.

Another step closer! Hopefully the ETA moves up a bit as it gets closer to being In Transit.

We were both in the 9/25 KFOS acceptance so hopefully that means I see my VIN pop up this week.

Ok, let's keep this thread going - Lev Kia KEEPS killin' it!
I just got off the phone with Ken, and finally put in my order for an EXP / GG / Grey interior / AWD.

As all have said, great guy, super knowledgeable and transparent about the entire ordering process. We both commented about how great @jenfowler78 is, and appreciate her Telluride advocacy :)
Ha! That's awesome! Thanks @ccorry21 !!

I'm glad the process is going smoothly for you!!

VIN showed on Failcat today and Stephen confirmed our name is attached. Updated ETA of 12/12. Hate to see the ETA slip but we're seeing some progress!

Congrats! Looks like a 2 week slip for both of us. Maybe we'll get lucky and it will get moved up.

Hoping that's the case. Maybe even be on the same delivery truck.

Did you order the floor mats or did they just add them on?
Ha. I laughed when I saw them on the window sticker and remembering your earlier note. I also did not order them and specifically told them I don't want them. But, like you, I am not going to worry about it. I plan to order some all-weather mats soon. Likely going with Smartliner.

Same here but probably Tuxmats. Was planning to wait until the car was officially on its way, but I might as well just get it ordered.

So, you specifically asked Ken to not add them and they still were put on?
I literally was just grabbing a few vin’s this morning to prove they don’t need to be added on. I know it’s small, but if I could put $200 toward better mats, I’d much rather that vs. pay for something I’ll never use 😕

Just got home with our new Black Copper and Dune Brown SX-P, and I want to echo what everyone else is saying about Ken at Lev Kia. I happen to live 45 minutes away, and while looking at options for our next family car of course I considered the Telluride and eventually stumbled across this thread. My wife and I stopped into the dealership a couple weeks ago and met with Ken, and apparently we were quite lucky with our timing. We managed to put a deposit on a Telly that I believe had just been canceled by someone else, with a delivery date just two weeks away. If I'm being totally honest, given the choice I might have picked a different exterior color and possibly shelled out for Nightfall, but the Black Copper is growing on me! The Dune Brown was a requirement for us. Most importantly, I'm not good at waiting and so I'm quite excited!

The purchase process was totally honest and painless, and I paid MSRP minus the $500 incentive for financing (which I wasn't originally intending to do). I think Lev charged a $375 doc fee, which seems typical or maybe even a little lower than average for around here. Everything else was sticker and registry fees, including tax. The car is really great! I'm particularly impressed with the HDA self driving, and looking forward to it during weekend trips to New Hampshire this winter.

Congratulations! The Dune interior was also a requirement for us. Best of luck.

Congrats. Black copper is a very cool color. Enjoy the new ride.

I got my call on Monday 11/16 and I picked up my Telluride yesterday, 11/18! I had called Ken a few days earlier for an update and it showed In Transit but with an ETA of 12/1, so I was shocked to get the call just a few days later. The purchase process was straightforward and stress free, including trade and finance. I did end up adding an extended warranty to double the bumper-to-bumper coverage to 10 years. Time will tell whether I should have or not but oh well. The car looks fantastic and rides beautifully! I was surprised that the EX-P has Michelin tires as I thought I had read they were getting Pirellis. My tuxmats are due to arrive tomorrow and I just ordered a cargo net. Cargo liner (and possibly car seat protectors) are the last items on the list. To echo all the others, I highly recommend contacting Ken at Lev Kia if you're going to order a Telluride!

Congratulations!! Pictures?
VERY interesting to hear that it showed up early. That must have been a fantastic call and surprise. Ours is also In Transit now with an ETA of 12/13. You have given me a little hope that we may see it sooner.
How much did you settle on for the warranty? Is it comparable to the Platinum 10y/100k/$0 that others are buying through Muncie for $1478?

Great to hear!
Mind saying how much you paid for extended warranty? If it’s comparable to Muncie, I might bite.

It was a few hundred more than what you describe, and does have $100 deductible. It is transferrable and cancellable if I decide to get rid of the car. I probably overpaid. In the moment, I was thinking about my previous car which I had for 16 years but also put a lot of $$$ into over the years. I did get a little more for my trade than I expected so my overall anticipated payment wasn't hurt too much by the addition of the warranty.

Sounds slightly better then the 18-22 week expectation they give you. Curious about the trade in....did they give you a fair value for the trade in or take advantage of the fact the car you special ordered is literally sitting in the parking lot ready to drive home....so basically...a take it or leave it value knowing you are ready to move on from it.?
