Went to Kia in Roseville, Ca yesterday. Told manager I wanted Wolf-loaded. He tried to put me in an ex desperately.
Asked if I could order? NO.
Asked about dealer trade? NO. “We don’t need to; it’s of no advantage to us”.

Then he advised me to lower my expectations. ??????????

so I’m considering ordering from factory when I don’t HAVE TO HAVE BLACK INTERIOR!!!

WOW!! Just got an email from Serge advising me he could, in fact, order a telluride for me with a $2500 deposit. He was not aware of this until he checked with his manager???

Don't bother ordering from them. You're likely setting yourself up for disappointment.

Unfortunately, being in CA, the only decent dealership I've read about on here is Hilltop Kia in Richmond. But, they are a bit small and their order queue is long at this point. You could always reach out to them. Or, order and buy from @StephenCantrelle in Dallas (now at MSRP) and have it shipped. More than a few CA buyers have gone that route. He recently said a 3-4 month wait - so not too bad.

Dealers are getting more vehicles now - and quite a few salespeople have recently found the forum to advertise. Markups are dwindling in some areas... but likely not in CA right now.
