Non Nightfall SX Prestige Waiting Room

I am about to have mine done. I am paying 900 for a ceramic coating with a 7 year warranty. All paint, chrome and wheels get finished.

I paid $700 for the Standard Protect PPF with the best Xpel self-healing film and $900 for the coating.

FYI I had a September allocation and my VIN appeared today in Failcat. My ETA is extended based upon shipping up to WA state. Whatever that’s worth. Back in August at the very low of SX-P production I just threw the towel in and said well - March 2021. But things kept moving forward and the car is built.

Congrats on picking yours up a few weeks back. I’m very much looking forward to the ride.

Production is shifting back to NFP from SXP... I wonder if the trend will continue.

Yes! I have only seen 1 other Telluride in our small town, and yesterday as I was leaving the local home improvement store I saw an older gentleman trying to look inside the front of the car from a few inches away. When I asked if I could help him he said 'I sold cars for 40 something years and this is probably one of the nicest one I think I have seen'. THAT was nice to hear had it not been that we are in a Covid hotspot I would have offered to open it up and show it off more.
 
The NFP production trend continues. Anyone out there waiting for an SXP more than 90 days old? I am wondering if they finally caught up with production of old orders.

Yes, waiting on Moss/Dune SXP but thankfully have a VIN already. Hope to see delivery in the next few weeks. It will be interesting to see the second half of November production to see if SXP starts to creep back up.

Yesterday we had another run of Prestige trims with the Nightfall package - but none for the non Nightfall package. We know it isn't a parts issue as the only difference is the SX trim and KIA continues to build SX trims - so there is no logistical reason to stop building non Nightfall Prestige models. Curious to see how many other people are in the same situation as my family.

Ordered 1-15
Accepted into KFOS 7-21
1st ETA 9-13
2nd ETA 9-20
3rd ETA 10-12
4th ETA 10-27

I ordered a Gravity Grey SX Prestige NightFall edition in August and received last Tuesday. I also bought yesterday a white SX prestige Telluride that was available on the lot in New Port Richey Florida without ordering.

I must be the last poor soul from the July allocation still awaiting delivery...being told 12/1.

I'm guessing they had supply chain issues with one of port-allocated add-ons...

The wait continues brethren.

WTF?? How in the world has it not yet been delivered yet? Especially with that VIN being created on Oct 10. Hang in there man. BTW what add-on is holding it up?

Some dealers are guessing it was the illuminated scuff plates as that option wasn't available in KFOS last month.

Ok. I can see that delaying it if it’s coming from Korea. Keep the faith. It will be worth the wait. Everyday, I cannot wait to drive mine. It’s truly remarkable.

Just got a text with pictures from my sales guy - MY TELLY IS OFF THE TRUCK! Picking up tomorrow after work!!!! :eek:

I was at the post office when the notification came through and I did a little jig. So excited!!! I never use multiple exclamation points!!!!! 7 months of waiting, finally done!
