Joining the Telluriders

Drove one for the first time yesterday and reserved the one I am going to buy today. I got so lucky because of lurking on these forums to find one on FailCat in St. Louis and I’m driving out from Kansas City to get it hopefully next week!

My wife is going to be the daily driver as I’m in sales and have a company car. She really wanted the 2nd row bench with our 2 small children but I refused to buy an LX. My initial thought was an S with the bench which is no longer made it appears. Funny actually while looking I found a used 2020 FWD S with a bench 2nd row and 17k miles. They were asking about the same as the current MSRP for a 2021 AWD EX with the Premium package.

We went with a Gravity Gray AWD EX standard package no add ons (other than floor mats). It seems a little boring after seeing some of the great combinations on here but it’s all about meeting our needs and this does it 100%!

A 2012 Hyundai Santa Fe. It has been a great vehicle but we need more space. I dread as a car ages that one repair that really isn’t worth making based on the value of the car. Feels like I’m approaching that crossroad and this is a great opportunity to make a change!

Wow. What a difference it will be for you moving from a Sante Fe to a Telluride. You will absolutely love it!
