+$495 if you want special colors
+$40.75 for new license plates
+$15 for a title
+$17 for electronic filing
+699 dealer processing fee
+$2050 Tax Approx (4.15% VA State)

$52461.75 Approximately. Looks like there is about 5k mark up. I would walk away.
I was hoping to get lucky with something on the lot. I haven't pushed ordering yet. Haven't ruled it out.Any reason you can't order? I think there are several discussions about pricing in your area and you can find dealers at MSRP if you don't mind the wait.

Is Winchester VA convenient for you? Parsons Kia sells at MSRP, $649 proc fee. They just sold an SX - N/T/P plus lighting and mats, sticker $50,310. I’ve been working with Matt Herman. It’s a small family owned dealership and by all accounts appears to be very honest, no tricks. I’ll be ordering from them when I’m ready.Thoughts??
2021 SX+P with tow, lighting, mudguards, carpeted floor mats, cargo cover and, illuminated door sills OTD in VA for 57k? Reasonable or not?
Good ideas and info, I'll see what I can get away with the local dealer to get within 1-2k. The worst they can do is say no.Check to see if these guys are close to you. Dealers are already making money on MSRP, there is no reason to be guilty about paying above that. They are being greedy. If you are going to be lowballing, if you can even call it that, ask them if they will sell one at MSRP. If they say no, look elsewhere. Most dealers will play hardball with in-stock inventory. If you want to pay MSRP or lower, you will have to order one or be lucky on FB sell group. Even if you buy out of state, shipping will be around $1000, which will be far less than $5k mark up your dealer is asking. You can always fly out to the dealer and have a nice drive back also.![]()
Risks of buying out of state
I live in NJ and most dealer here are charging at least 4K over MSRP for an SX. I am researching out of state dealers which are taking orders for the trim/color I am looking for. I have read some of the threads about this on ordering out of state. Other than the transportation risk which might...tellurideforum.org
They are close enough, I have looked, they were short on the SXP with tow. I would frankly rather give them the $$ rather than the hyperlocal dealer. They’re a low allocation dealer but they’ve been getting in more of them lately. Do you know how to use Failcat? That’s a good way to monitor what’s coming to them and to other dealerships as well. They are close enough, I have looked, they were short on the SXP with tow. It seems like I've seen buyers mentioning one or two. This thread is a good place to start your search:Is anyone finding a dealer in the Southern California area that will do MSRP? I found a dealer is advertising MSRP via true car but adds $1300 Cilajet coating. If that was the only markup wouldnt be horrible but hoping for straight MSRP.

Telluride VIN Lookup - The History
Phase 1 Early on in the life of this bulletin board, a member - @Michelw , was able to create a spreadsheet of Tellurides produced and was published fairly regularly or as requested. This is still kept up to date today. This data was extrapolated from the Monroney sticker (window sticker) that...tellurideforum.org

I see an SX P/N, GWP Black, on there that hasn’t arrived yet. Might be already promised/allocated but you can call and ask.
The vehicle usually hits the dealer in as early as a week, usually within 3 weeks, in my experience. I've been monitoring Parsons allocations for about 2 months. But you'll have to call them to see if the one you want is available (not allocated to another buyer). And remember to keep your knowledge of this on the down low. I'm sure you read the pop up on Failcat.I am a noob, so I can't DM you!
So on Failcat I can sort by models, have figured out the dealer ID's, can
see the VIN create date, but not sure how that date translates to where the vehicle is in the pipeline to getting to the dealer. So then I just have to crossmatch with the dealer's website in-stock inventory? Or is there some additional magic?
Roger that. Thanks! The vehicle usually hits the dealer in as early as a week, usually within 3 weeks, in my experience. I've been monitoring Parsons allocations for about 2 months. One other thing, the Kia ordering system (KFOS) is usually around the 15th. It is only done once per month, so if you decide to order you'll want to get the ball rolling on that this week.
My apologies, I thought I had watched this thread. What is the interior color on that everlasting silver?
There’s a longer thread here as well:Anyone knows what the dealers are charging for a 2021 EX AWD in the state of MA or anywhere in New England? Thanks.
Any Dealers in Massachusetts taking 2021 Telluride orders at MSRP with not Market Demand Mark-up?
Yes, we ordered from Ken Russian at Lev Kia per Jenn Fowler's recommendation in her thread. Lev Kia is selling at MSRP. Though expected wait time is about 18 weeks. There’s a longer thread here as well:
