• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... I have a 2021 Dark Moss with Nightfall package. Trying to decide whether to go with the regular black on black Klexus badging or the Black on Black Carbon Fiber. If anyone had put either of these badges on your Nighfall Telly (Dark Moss or not) I'd love to see some pictures of each of these. I'm sore either would look great, but it would help me decide if I could see pictures of both of these options.

Thanks in advance.

@BasilFawlty the Nightfall OEM badges look pretty good actually. Have you considered keeping them?

Brenthon for the win (y) , don't follow the pack , lead:) , Sal would be happy to accommodate you
Just personal preference I guess, but I really don' like that style.

Just out of curiosity, it there a Brenthon set without Chrome (i.e., a Nightfall version)?

I dont believe so ,I plan to spray mine a dark chrome , but honestly stock looks fine to me , a little spark of chrome on the nose and tail wont bother me .............I dont think, I put them a white and a black car and they look great ....................never seen another car here with them , which I like , every Optima here has a Klexus badge hence my herd comment ( sorry ) :)

Classic/Vintage K badge gets my vote ...

I have a nightfall and put these ones on: Kia 3.0 KLexus Front or Rear Badges and Emblems (Black w/Black)

The inset of these badges matches the nightfall shiny back trim really well while the matted black portions match the grille (IMO)

Thanks GA Boy. Could you post a picture not so close up? Maybe just standing at a distance where you can get the whole front end in the picture?
Hope this helps...car is a little dirty these days

I noticed that you have installed the grill screens to protect your Radiator. My question to you is, how dirty do they get? and how hard is it to clean? Have you had them for a while? Just wonder how they will hold up over time. One of my concerns is that they are installed with black zip ties, which where I live, will be subjective to extreme hot and cold temps. My fear is that those ties will snap after being in the climate with the extreme temps and may come unsecure and start flapping around your front end, doing damage. I really would love to protect the radiator too, but have concerns about the method used to secure it. Any thoughts by you or other members who have done this is greatly appreciated.

Only had the on the vehicle for a few weeks so can't really give you an honest assessment. I do plan to keep an eye on them as I have some of the same concerns. I did add 2 extra zip ties on the larger screen (they ship with 4 per screen).

Where do you get those screens? I need!

Search on this forum for “ AC Leak. AC Issues”. There is a whole discussion on the problem and solution. A member here sells them for 68 dollars.

Here's the direct link to that thread:
Steve (@Scarlett) is the guy making them if you're interested to get the screens.

Frankie- I'm the screen guy. I've been making them for a good variety of cars for over 6 years now. It all started with the Chevy Volt and grew from there. The plastic ties work very well, and last a good long time. I've personally not had a problem with them for the entire time and we get really cold up here in Upstate NY. Hot in the summer too. The secret is to just snug them up, don't put any real tension on them and they don't get stressed out where they can fail over time. Of course, it is good to keep an eye on them check them every month when you check your oil level and tire pressure... A few guys I've talked to change them out every year as a precaution. They are cheap, and pretty easy to change, so I don't have a problem with that approach either. Or putting a couple extra on as well. You can also get them in stainless steel if you really want to go all the way. A little dab of plastic dip or liquid electrical tape when you are done will blend those right in. HTH! I'm here to help if I can.

Steve
