You may think you're seeing spots on the bottom half of the wheels, it's actually the reflection of the concrete on the shiny surface :)
Looks gorgeous! I've got the same build coming.... what is PPF? Have you done any window tinting - if so, what level of darkness, brand, etc... and are you happy with it? Will be a future decision point for me after mine comes in (months ahead)....

PPF - Paint Protection Film. I had PPF installed at what many consider the best place in the Twin Cities metro area of MN, Midwest Clear Bra. They show a number of options for installation on this page: Clear Bra Paint Protection - MidWest Clear Bra. The level called "Standard Protection" is what I feel is the minimum to protect from sand and stone damage to the front of the car. It's been highly effective on previous cars I've owned. Midwest Clear Bra uses XPEL Ultimate Plus self-healing film, one of, if not the best PPF on the market. You can look at this channel on YouTube to see tests of the different brands of PPF Scott H

I think my Everlasting Silver looks great after they installed the "Standard Protection". I highly recommend getting it for yours, it's much better than the film installed at the dealer.

Great thanks! Did you get a full-car PPF coverage or only certain places? I have XPEL Ultimate on most of my BMW M3 and have really appreciated it for the same reasons...

I learned my vehicle was accepted into KFOS, I do not have an ETA yet, what are the next steps from here? My dealer estimated about 6 weeks until delivery does that sound correct?

Sounds about right. Did your dealer send you the VIN?

Just got a text with pictures from my sales guy - MY TELLY IS OFF THE TRUCK! Picking up tomorrow after work!!!!

I was at the post office when the notification came through and I did a little jig. So excited!!! I never use multiple exclamation points!!!!! 7 months of waiting, finally done!
Outstanding news!! I’m happy for you. Congrats.

Don't want to jinx it but supposedly the Telluride is getting delivered to the dealership tomorrow!

Picking my baby up Tuesday.

Have tons to be thankful for next week!

Dropping it off to get it ceramic coated/front PPF'd right away. They need it for 24-36 hours which means I'll have her back in my hands on Thanksgiving!

Gotta Love Jersey...

Deal was MSRP the entire time...ok fine.

Now they add on $400 document fee, and $299 VIN Etching Fee...

I can't wait for my next car to be bought directly from the manufacturer (Electric).

Etching fees, what a scam. Another thing they try to tack on at the last minute is outrageous documentation fees (it doesn't cost them $400 and we all know it), hopefully they won't next add a nitrogen in the tires scam when 78% of the free air around us is nitrogen. Seen them add $200+ for crap like that. Some will try to add cheap pin-striping at outrageous fees too.

I called and asked for the owner - his name is in the dealership name so not hard to ask for him by name.

I said sir...I've been patiently waiting for my telluride and the NJ average doc fee is $400 so fine you can have that but I will not pay you $300 to etch my VIN that I can do myself.

He agreed to remove it.

I seriously cannot wait for the direct-to-consumer sales model for vehicles.

I absolutely love some the dealers on these forums but the model makes no sense to me for people who educate themselves about potential vehicle purchases (and don't require a dealer).

That $400 "doc fee" still seems ridiculous. Any more tacked-on scam fees? Have we finally rid the world of the dealer nitrogen-in-tires scam? :)

Unfortunately that's the norm in NJ.

NY has a law that caps it to $75 but not in Joisey.

Haven't posted here in a while. We got out first snow white EX-P in March after a 4.5 month wait. COVID was in full swing so it didn't get a lot of use. At 1,200 miles my wife was cut off by some pothead in a BMW and the car was a total loss (wife and daughter good but wife is still has neck pain and just received her second cervical epidural this past Wednesday). Took forever to square-up with insurance because Kia finance is in California and was locked down. I loved the Telluride but between the terrible dealership experience and Kia finance sucking wind taking months to email a single sheet of paper, I had a really bad taste in my mouth. I was sure I'd be driving an Explorer ST next time around.

Fast forward: we hemmed and hawed but she wanted another Telluride. Then Kia wasn't taking orders. Finally ordered another one and it's supposed to arrive this Tuesday. Only about a 2 month wait this time. Hope the interior color is correct this time (last time we ordered Dune and received Black). This time I got the tow package too which I regretted not ordering last time. Will be cool to have remote start on the fob as well. Kia finance sucks and the best they can offer is 1.9% so we're paying cash. Hope things go better this time around. Will post pics when she arrives!

So awful!! Hope your wife gets better soon and no lasting effects. Stay well!

You are right to be put off by KIA and their practices. For a company that just a few years ago was a laughing stock they are not improving their customer image with the crap they have pulled and the customer relations fiasco they started following the release of the 'N'fall edition prior to filling the orders placed way earlier in the year. If you have seen any of my earlier posts on this thread, I was just as upset as anyone and had all but given up on my order and was ready to walk away when I had some unexpected difficulty fixing up my older car. My posts here were angry and negative however due to the urging of my wife I went through with the purchase and now 3 weeks later, I am so glad that I did. The Telluride is awesome so far, I have the white AWD SXP with Tow package and Dune interior and am loving it. My last new car was almost 18 years ago so every day I find out something new to me about the technology or safety built in to this car. Maybe KIA and a lot their dealers will someday pull their heads out of their A$$ and realize they still need the confidence and support of their customers to survive. Right now they are high on the success of this SUV and ignoring some basic premises that build long term customer loyalty. Prayers for your wife's speedy recovery and best wishes for you and your new T'ride.

Wow!! Sorry to hear about the crash, and more so, about your wife’s injuries. My prayers go out to her for a speedy recovery. Conversely, I’m happy to hear about you finally getting another one that has your interior color and tow. Wish you all the best!
