• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... I'd like to introduce Groot. We've had him for about a month, and we're pretty much done with all the mods:

1) xpel Ultimate wrap on hood, front quarter panels, front bumper, door cups/doors, and the first 1.5 feet of the roof. The remaining was ceramic coated.

2) wheel emblems were plastidipped and then sprayed with black gloss wheel paint.

3) front and rear emblems were covered up with the k style.

4) all windows tinted, including the roof ones to block heat and uv.

5) added foot well lights to the first 2 rows.

6) front and rear cameras added - blackvue 2 channel.

7) 3rd party floor mats for all rows and cargo area.

8) Groot decals added to rear and passenger back side.

9) replaced dealer plates with groot theme in rear and outdoor theme in front.

We really love the interior lights, they came out pretty good and turn on/off with the dome lights, including fading on/off. Color changeable by rf remote or bluetooth app.

Cheers.

Very nice! What did you use for the foot well lights? Did you splice them in?

OH. MY. GOSH!!!!!!!

I used these lights: US $52.49 25% OFF|Led Car Interior Ambient Atmosphere Mood Light Rgb App Remote Control Backlight Auto Foot Center Console Door Decorative Lights|Decorative Lamp| - AliExpress

However, I only used the foot lights and not the other strip lights. They are kinda...lame. I contacted the seller asking if they have a kit with just the foot lights to install on another car, and he responded with these:

Just ordered these and won't get them until end of December.

I had a local electronics/rebuild shop install them. Right next to Groot was a 1970's Cadillac that was down to the frame and wheels that was just back from the paint shop...$35k paint job. They estimated by the time that car is done, it'll be $150-175k. The paint looked amazing and had 27 coats of paint. WOW! Must be nice...

Did you just black vinyl the kia emblem?
Yes. Matte black front to match the grille and gloss black on rear. Also on steering wheel as well...

Copy away. We love how it looks. I don't tell my friends what kind of truck it is untill I've taken then for a drive. Haha

Looks great ! Only reco's would be spray your exhaust tips black and get running boards (y)
Maybe the black tips, but we're not fans of running boards.

Here's the front rear emblems. They are the stick on since the pros refused to remove the stock ones. I'm too scared to do it myself. Honestly, it's not my favorite, but it's decent.

Prepping for a tahoe trip. Cargo rack for taking 6 people and gear for 5 days up there.

Test fitted the chains, only drove a total of 4 feet. These don't even come close to getting near the wheels, at least at rest. Hopefully it remains that way when driving.

I actually like that a lot. Did you get it from the forum store?

Nope. Emblems only. The ones we bought from the forum store, were replacements and not stick ons. They are still sealed and new, I'll have to put them for sale on here at a discount.
