A round dot of paint on a tire and a round sticker on a rim? This comes from the factory, a control marker.

Looks like you are asking about the rust on the brake rotors/discs. this is normal usually due to moisture reacting with the iron in the rotors.

can be removed the next time you drive on the highway or empty parking lot and step on the brakes. The harder you brake the more you will remove. This might not be 100% effective, but should clean up a good amount.

I fully expected it to be in reference to the small paint dots on the rims and was taken aback when I saw it was just rusty rotor syndrome.

The only thing you can do is drive your car. Every time you park your car and there is moisture in the air this will happen.

Bro its rust on a steel rotor, happens to every car. Just drive it, and under no circumstance do you spray anything on your rotors. Unless you are doing a brake job and its brake cleaner.

Do not apply anything to your brake rotor! This is normal and happens to every car on the planet.

Probably first car where you can see the rotors. Originally I thought they were talking about the orange dot on the wheel and tire. That is for tire balancing.

lol I thought the same thing too, was not expecting this. If his 1st car is a Telly he is a lucky guy. My 1st car was an 89 Cutlass with no rear suspension lol we welded bars to the frame bought the car for $100 and the seat back broke off when I was driving it home so for a while till we got a "new" seat from a Pontiac Tempest from the junk yard the seat back was made out of 2x4's braced against the back seat

Well as someone stated earlier happens to every car. I personally hate it as well. Only thing you can do if it bothers you really is press the brakes and the accelerator at the same time. To the point where you feel resistance and the car is fighting you to go forward. Sounds weird but it works temporarily, I haven't found much other fixes. Definitely don't want to put any cleaner or anything on it because it will cause the surface to be slippery and cancel its intended purpose.

My first car was a used, late 1980s Mazda 626 with manual transmission and a parking brake that would freeze in the winter, making the car inoperable. It also occasionally just stopped having any power at all, then would be fine for months. Back in the day, man....

Just drive the car normally. When you apply the brakes the pads will clean the brake rotor surface.

just drive. if the car has been standing for a long time and the build-up of rust is large, you may feel when braking that this is happening a little worse than usual. after a couple of brakes everything will be ok.
