If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... So, barring a colossal disaster over the next week, after 19 months of waiting, I'm hoping to place my Telluride order next week. And then, just a moment ago, I see this article...

Hyundai Palisade Gets 0% APR for First Time Ever

The 0% is supposedly good for up to 48 months. The website still lists 1.9% up to 60 months, but supposedly this deal took effect Sep. 9. Yeah the Telluride is hotter than the Palisade, but the Palisade ain't exactly a dud in terms of sales. Could we possibly be seeing a 0% deal on the Telluride soon?

The dealer I'm planning to order from is claiming a 3 month wait (at MSRP), so maybe the incentives around Christmas will be better?

OOPS... BIG EDIT... 0% is only good on 2020 models. I'm still holding out hope!

I don’t see it, all they have done is disincentivize this vehicle lately.

You’re kidding yourself if you think Kia will need to do anything to incentivize sales of the Telluride anytime soon.

True, but did Hyundai need to do anything to incentivize Palisade sales? They're not exactly laying on the lots either.

At this minute, there are 58 new 2020 Tellurides listed on Autotrader. There are 874 new 2020 Palisade.

If I was shopping, especially at the low end, I would not want a 2020 Palisade now that the 2021s are out. 2021s all get LED headlights now, and as long as you stay with the small infotainment screen, you get wireless CarPlay and Android Auto (something not added to the 2021 Telluride LX and S models, unfortunately).

In their case, might as well try to get some people who saw the deal, and either the 2020s will disappear quickly, or they’ll maybe get upsold to a 2021. Hyundai wins either way.

I wonder how much this is related to 2020 production and accessibility rates between the two brands.

of course, kia has a hotter vehicle right now and the pandemic issues further let to supply and demand issues, equating to low inventory. Then a number of 2020s were converted. So taking Everything into consideration, I wonder what the normalized values would be.

to the op, @zhelder, I think you might have answered your question related to ‘20s once you saw the MY in the article.

The incentive is/would be a great one had we been interested in financing through them for a ‘20. But we would still go with the ‘21s for personal reasons and still are financing through our CU, even if not at 0% or 0.9%.

They produce 50% more Palisade than Tellurides. From a supply and demand standpoint, it's apples and oranges. Kia would be idiotic to further incentivize Telluride buyers given the non-existent inventory and significant markups already in place. I found it surprising that they had 0.9% promotional financing in the first place.

The 2021 Palisade also has free scheduled maintenance for 3 years, and free roadside assistance for 5 years too! If only it wasn’t so ugly!

Im not that mad that how the Palisade looks. The wheels on the Caligraphy are horrendous but for what some are saying getting them under MSRP I dont love the Telluride that much more for what people are having to pay or wait. In the end they are both just normal cars and even though there is a supply issue people should not be giving over for them. Thats just crazy.
