2.25% Auto Loan for 84 months

Tower FCU is 2.99 up to 60 months. Have to have ridiculously high credit though and they're a pain to work with but saved me a lot of money when I bought out my volvo lease.
It shows 6.49% for upto 60 months now. 5.74% for 36 months. Not that competitive rates now.

Here ya go

Armco credit union still has low rates
Just spoke to a rep from Armco and confirmed that their promotional rates are still good until end of the month. Since my employer is not their sponsor, I have to pay $19.99 for the non-affiliated membership, which is not a big deal. I just wanted to know how easy the loan processing is if anyone can share with his experience. TIA.

Can you apply as an out of state resident?

Yes, you can. I became a member and got a loan from Tower in MD, and I live in NC.

Darn! I submitted an app to join last week. Oh well. Any other good recommendations?

Armco as mentioned above, they're offering 3.2% for 60 and 3.45 for 72% and their process is a breeze compared to Tower.

That's great to hear about the low 2.25% auto loan rate for 84 months.
If you're in the market for a loan, it's always worth researching and shopping around to find the best rates. But keep in mind that rates can vary depending on factors like credit score, income, and loan terms, so what works for one person may not be the best option for another.

Armco CU is offering 3.2% for 60 and 3.45% for 72, they've been infinitely more responsive and easy to work with than Tower.

Damn on their site
"Due to overwhelming auto loan demand, loan applications may not be reviewed for up to 3-4 weeks. We apologize for this inconvenience."

Anyone financed the vehicle from Kia? How much is the rate?
The dealership selling at MSRP but asking to finance from them. They gave me 6.99 for 72 months.

That’s what I got and then I refinanced through Tower at 3.49.

Thanks for sharing the information about the 2.25% auto loan for 84 months. It's always great to find lower rates and favorable terms for loans.

Any suggestions on the the best loan and rates these days? The rates seemed to have jumped significantly in the last 2 months.

Thanks to the FED.

I went from a 2.8% loan in May 2023 (the car I traded in) to a 6.34% now.

Rates have gone up significantly since earlier this year - not just in the past two months.

The best rate I was able to find recently was 4.74% for up to 60 months at Navy Federal Credit Union. They have 6.94 for up to 84 months. But of course you have to be a member.

One thing I did, though, was talk to the finance guy at the dealer. I let him run my credit and come back to me with his best offer. I then did my own legwork to see what I could find. I talked to my local bank, researched online, investigated every credit union I might be a member of or could be a member of. Since typically all inquiries for a car loan only count as one inquiry within 2 weeks (may depend on the credit scoring system), I was willing to let others run my credit as I did my research.

Dealer was willing to match my best find which made it easy when I purchased the car the next week as all the paperwork was done when I got there.

I agee - credit unions (and you have to be a member - but that usually only entails a $5 fee) sure seem to beat out all others for best rates.
