If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... 2020 Telluride AWD rear end jerking thumping and vibrating

It’s vibration and humming is getting worse as the miles pile on we have 13000 on ours now. It’s in the shop as we speak.
Were they able to get your Telluride fixed? I’m curious to see what they did for you. I’m taking mine in next week and the Service Manager is already telling me that they’ve sold many of these and no one else has had this issue, so I know I’m going to have to be persistent to get to the bottom of this!

That’s the absolute last thing you want to hear from the guy who is supposed to know what is going on. Lame is the word that comes to mind. Good Luck with him, you’ll need it!

Be persistent and don’t stop. I was. I’m in Saudia arabia and was facing the same issue. First they tightened something to do with the torque and it did nothing. I went back again and they said they needed to find other cars with the same problem, which they did. Then all of a sudden I get a message saying my part had arrived. Their tech department sent over a new prop shaft and it was fitted. So far so good, and the vibration seems to have gone.

We just test drove a bread new 2021 S Telluride and felt the vibration on the test drive. Told them to check it out because we are interested in one? The have checked the tires so I am sure its the more major shaft problem everyone else is talking about. When fixed are you have more problems or no? They are holding the car for us but we are a little nervous to buy now.

I have a 21 SXP AWD and I am having the same issue ever since I drove it off the lot . Will be taking it to the dealer soon to be addressed.

Update: I dropped mine off at the dealership on Monday and I sent them a copy of the Palisade TSB. They replicated the issue during multiple drives and agreed there is something that needs to be fixed.

- First they replaced the rear driver side tire because they found they could not get it balanced. This did not solve the vibration.

- Then the Foreman test drove a new AWD Telluride that had just been delivered to compare and the same issues happened in the brand new car as well !

- So the dealership opened support with Kia Techline and we are awaiting a response.

- The Dealership (Kia SW Round Rock) seems committed to fully fixing the issue and are sympathetic that a brand new car should not have this issue.

- They are going to give me a loaner if they can't get it fixed by EOD Friday.

What are my options if Techline responds that they have no solution or no customers have the same complaint ?

They have repeatedly asked if I had bought the car at this dealership so it seems they are concerned about repercussions if a solution cannot be found.

Since I bought the car at another dealer that is 3 hours away I am not looking forward to taking the case back to them (buy back or trade perhaps?). I am sure they would put up quite a fight.

Are you saying that Kia is asking if you bought the car at the dealership you have it in for service at? Either way, I’m not sure why that would matter. An issue is an issue.

The dealer I am servicing it has asked me 3 different times where I bought the car.

It matters because the one where I bought the car may have a completely different answer. If they deny there is an issue then they don't have buy the car back. It involves the entire dealership and not just the service department.

Alternatively, the the dealer I am at now is a neutral 3rd party and thus more trustworthy without skin in the game.

First off - feel horrible for all those that have experienced this issue. I have been reading as much on this forum as possible as I am interested in purchasing. Are any recent purchasers having this issue?
Just purchased 2021 sx awd and have same vibration problem, waiting to here back from Kiatechline. Don't buy one until you test drive it on open road between 65 and 75.

Definitely not normal. I live in Georgia about 30 minutes away from where they are made. They sent engineers from the plant to look at mine. I’m very happy they were able to resolve it. We really love this vehicle it has been great.
What did they do to fix it.

Don't buy til they fix it. Mine is still not fixed.

Well this isn’t great, you guys.

Does anyone NOT have this issue?

I have a 2020 SXP Since September last year and have had no problems. Since being on this forum more and mire issues seem to be coming up. It’s very troublesome.

I think we have to remember that we represent a very small % of the owners (future owners). Every owner I’ve ever stopped and talked with, has had nothing but great things to say

Anybody feel a oscillating vibration at around 70mph?
SX AWD
I'm having the same problem with my 2021. Ancira KIA in San Antonio said they have another customer that KIA was in the process of buying theirs back. I was told they do not have a fix and KIA has yet to issue a recall (denial). I contacted KIA and a lady called me back and a supervisor was to call me back last week and as of today, 9/9/20, I have yet to hear from anyone.
My plans are to take it back to the dealer and let them document KIA's reply on the issue and then start the process under the Texas Lemon Law and get a blood-sucking attorney.
Mine vibrates between 63-75 MPH and that is most of the driving speed I do so it is very irritating. The problem appears to be getting worse and now my first payment is due.
Other than this issue, I love the vehicle.

Is it an AWD?

2021 Telluride S AWD, have had it a week, no vibration issues here. Hope to keep it that way

You don't need a dealer, you need Kia America / Kia Canada. The beneficiary of the guarantee is the Kia, not the dealer. Your battle will be with Kia.
