  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Well friends....A guy ran my wife off the highway causing her to clip the guardrail on the right side and drag the entire side of the vehicle. The other driver not only did not stop, they sped up and fled the highway. Luckily there were a few people behind my wife who saw what happened and stopped to not only check on her, but they also stayed to give a witness statement to the highway patrol.

Our insurance has decided, not surprisingly, based on frame and sensors damage, and the availability of parts, to total it out. So that means we will of course be looking for a new Telly....

So here we go again!! Is the process and availability as bad as it was when we bought this one in June of 2020?

That's a bummer, but at least your wife wasn't hurt (which is the most important thing!). Amazing that it was considered totaled, but doesn't take much nowadays. Hopefully you had gap insurance to cover you in the event you are upside down in your loan or better yet have new car replacement coverage!! Good luck on your quest to find another!

Ouch! Though glad your wife is safe.
I can relate to the totally. My current vehicle was rear-ended once and my insurance considered totaling it because of (their recommended) body shop's repair cost.

Ok...I've been through 15 semi local dealers and not one was selling exactly what I wanted and ALL were above MSRP....Like ridiculously above.

I am seeking a Gravity Grey SX-P Nightfall AWD...Black would be a second choice if it has the Dune interior, and Wolf Grey would be third, and if I absolutely had to I would take a Moss.

Any dealers have anything in stock at MSRP? I can write a check today! lol
