That’s what I told you three days ago!...unless you have a 2021. This changed out the firmware on mine and I have other options available to me regarding Android Auto (such as split screen). Your comment may apply soley to 2020's but for those with 2021's, go ahead and get it done.

My most recent post was in response to someone who had done the 14 update.
New version is out now at mapnsoft.com.
Looks like this time it is a 100% maps update, so if you updated earlier this year, it probably isn’t worth the trouble.
But if you are someone who hasn’t updated yet, or have a new 2021 that is rocking the old software, go get it and get your split screen Apple CarPlay/Android Auto and some other updates!
I’m willing to bet ordering/downloading the 2020 model update for your 2021 will result in the same outcome. There cannot be any real difference in the head units between the model years.
But of course I won’t guarantee that...and I don’t have a 2021 to try myself.
Bottom line, if it’s still not clear:
If you’ve never updated your Telluride before, you have at best 13.5. You probably want this update. In addition to the new maps, you’ll get split screen functionality for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, along with other small software updates.
If you updated to 14.0 earlier this year, you most likely don’t need it. Update only if you really want to make sure every map is as accurate as possible, because the differences from 14.0 > 14.5 are only in the maps themselves.
