  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Had my Telluride for a month now and really like it. It's bit a learning curve because of all the technology. I had a Toyota Sienna XLE for about a decade and I miss the automatic second row doors. There were many, many good things about it which I why I kept it for such a long time. On the other hand, I love that I finally have a quieter interior with hands-free tech. And... I feel like I'm finally prepared for winter up north with my increased ground clearance and AWD!

How exciting! Somehow got through parenthood without a minivan! Did have the Wally Wagon though (National Lampoon Vacation). Looked at the Sedona but hubby hates that the back seats do not fold down flat.

I'm waiting for my dealer to get in an AWD S Dark Moss! My sales guy told me Saturday he has one coming in any day but so far.... crickets. I am trying to be patient and not bug him, but I don't do patient very well! LOL!

At first was gonna settle for the FWD since it won't be driven much at all (I work at home) but we do get snow and ice here on occasion in the Mid Atlantic region. I think its best to be prepared if we're caught in a storm while out and about. When I asked him why so may FWD he said "because we don't get bad winters very often". Uh, really?!!!

What color interior did you get? I love the light grey very much but worry about stains. There will rarely be children riding in it unless you count my husband who has the personality of a 12 yo boy much of the time! LOL! I'm afraid the black interior will be too hot in summer. Its going to be quite an endeavor to clear space in the garage to keep it out of the sun, but that won't help when parked in a lot while out shopping.

I was supposed to replace my 18 year old Sienna XLE (purchased 2003) with this new Telluride but I ended up keeping the Sienna as a back up car since my college-aged son is now studying from home due to COVID. The cables of the minivan to pull the sliding doors broke about a year ago so they became manual doors now (lots of $$$ to get them fixed). Other than that the van works fine and it's still a workhorse when I need to move lots of stuff....it's still a better than selling the van to Carvana for $100

FWD because it's $2k less, lol. I'm not going through another winter without AWD! I got black interior and it shows Every bit of dirt and dust. My Sienna had grey interior which was pretty great. Honestly, I'm not sure the grey interior offered in the S trim would be any better because it's too

I Loved my Sienna! I came very close to getting another. I had and hope to have another mastiff (or two) in my life, plus I "borrow" my friend's mastiffs on occassion and that van was PERFECT. Pull the seats out and even the older dogs have no problem stepping up into it and plenty of room. But.... no AWD, no hands-free calls, no bluetooth, failing reliability and the Toyota dealership in my little city and the nearest bigger city were absolute dicks. Such is life.
light. I wanted the butterscotch offered in the upper trims - that would have been perfect and would have looked awesome with the Dark Moss exterior. If I could have waited another couple years for more options to be available, I would have but the van would not have held up through another winter. In fact, I almost went with another Sienna XLE - in my 2002 model you could pull out the second and third row seats which perfect. My children are grown so I had the seats stashed away to make room for transporting mastiffs<3 Added bonus: my dealership gave me $2500 trade-in for my Sienna. How could I say no to a deal like that!
