The warm water pressure washing was nice for the salt and grime. This was a complete touchless wash on the body of the vehicle. Pre wash, foam cannon, rinse. I like the added touch of throwing in the 2 bucket method but I wanted to see how much cleaning the warm water did touchless and I was impressed.

Looks sweet! This is the glossiest WG that I've seen on these boards - definitely because of your ceramic coating.

Cleaned up The Ghost (Star Wars Rebels ship name) yesterday. Wanted to have it ready for a rare two days in a row of sunshine. This thread has helped me step up my detailing game immensely.

Just a general FYI - the real good installers usually never use pre-cut. I'm talking the guys that treat this like an art.

Went to Esoteric to pick up some products for my poverty sled's. I should have snapped some pictures. I could see a couple 911's ferrari and a mclaren in the shop from the showroom.

Got the chance to wash our baby today. Used the new Ryobi undercarriage sprayer too. Rinse undercarriage and wheels, Carpro IronX on the wheels. Rinse, then foam, and wash wheels with my new Griots microfiber wheel wands. Rinsed the car then foamed. The foam goes on thick, but not too thick. It runs off very slowly and takes the dirt with it. Wash with microfiber mitt then power rinse the car. Blow dry, then use my new Griots PFM large drying towel. I also use separate edgeless microfiber towels on the door jams, etc. Turned out pretty good.

Alright here’s a question for all you detailing nerds. My wife and I just built a home in a brand new development. Needless to say it’s become a full on construction zone as more and more houses go up. As a result, there Is mud, rocks, dirt, construction debris, mortar, and all kinds of other s**t in the street. But the mud and brown dust is the worst part.

I currently detail my cars about once a week, but no matter what I try I cannot keep the wheel wells clean for the life of me. The first time it rains all the dirt turns to mud and cakes up all around the tire. Is there a way to possibly ceramic coat the inner wheel well liners, to help this stuff fall off more easily with just a simple rinse?

We are expecting our new Telly any week now, and just the thought of having dirt all over the wheel wells is killing me. Nothing ruins the look of a newly detailed car more than having nice black tires and glossy paint but dirt all over the wheel liners. It’s so obvious and so ugly. Thanks in advance!!

Yes, you absolutely can get this done. Ask the detailer you want the entire wheel ceramic coated - the key here is ask them to take it off the vehicle to coat it. That's the only way to the get every single inch of the wheel coated.

For wheel wells I use Wesley's bleach white while I'm also cleaning the tires and hit them with a brush. At the end of the detail I spray the wheel wells with a cheap can of tire detailing spray. It might get dirt quick if you're in a lot of dust but it cleans off easier the next time you Wash. On a side note the telluride wells are pretty smooth and easy to clean

Sorry I think I may have used the wrong terminology. I meant area underneath the fenders. That’s usually all plastic (see pic for reference). Can you ceramic coat plastic?

The wheel well? Absolutely. You can ceramic coat any part of a vehicle.

Most don't get that coated as any good pressure washer is going to wipe that mud out with ease.
