• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... For those that don't want to spring for the professional ceramic coating, ceramic spray on wax FTW:

Thanks..
On the latest video
After 8 months (ceramic spray on wax still holding up):
Griot's Garage 3 in 1
Gloss It Body Guard
IGL Premier

Meguiars is holding on but not like the top 3

^^^^ Ya beat me to it :)

Griot's FTW!

Slightly off topic but felt those that have posted in this thread might have the best answer.

What is the best tool and method for removing snow from your Telluride without damaging the paint?

My 07 minivan gets a long floor broom frequently, especially to remove from roof. Thanks to this thread, I will be taking pride in the care I do with my Telly. Any guidance is much appreciated.

Leaf blower?

Leaf blower?
Wow! Watched a YouTube video of that. Thanks for the suggestion of what to search for. Another item to add to the detailing shelf. Never bought one before as kids and rakes take care of leaves.

I think I may need to revise my assessment of the Nu Finish Ceramic spray. I now believe that the problems I was having are the result of having remnants of car polish/swirl remover I had used on parts of the car.

I went back and cleaned up some of the problem areas with isopropyl alcohol and then reapplied some Nu Finish Ceramic spray and the problems I was having seem to have disappeared.

I want to do a little more testing but right now I'm about 90% sure the problems I had were related to the polish having not been completely removed before I applied the Ceramic spray.

I have the black finish interior and have noticed so far, no matter what I use to clean/ shine the door areas, it returns to a dull finish quickly. I am not looking for a slick surface, but its seems like everything I try absorbs in and never looks shiny. I have not tried Meguires or Griots, but looking for suggestions. Thanks in advance

i use one by the chemical guys and it’s great. didn’t like mother’s. i can’t remember what it’s called but it’s for plastic/vinyl surfaces

Was it Total Interior? That’s what I am eyeing because it cleans and has a UV protectant all in one.

What are folks using to protect the nightfall grill from fading, etc.? I could use my graphene coating on it but it will be nearly impossible to get it in all the crevices with an applicator. Spray on will be more ideal, I think. Thoughts?

PPF and ceramic coating

I applied the Adams VRT to it. It has a UV protectant and hopefully keeps it looking fresh and not faded (only 3 weeks in to ownership).

I spent Saturday night doing the two coats of ceramic on our new Telluride, and I have to say I've never seen factory paint this good. I had to do almost zero correction, and there was nothing for the clay bar to pick up.

There is a decent amount of matte black plastic on this car's exterior, so I think I need to plan on making good use of my Aerospace 303 protectant.

Which brand of ceramic did you go with?

Went through a brushless car wash today. Only basic wash. Planning to do Chemical Guys Hydro Charge and Hydro Slick once school is out in a week. Hated going to car wash but some birds made a mess and I don't have time for a handwash. Unfortunately, the 🐦 💩 still left marks even after hand wiping. Slightly dullness on front grille.

Bird poop is evil.a I carry a kit in my car with old microfiber and spray on cat wash to take it off asap. Otherwise it can cause permanent damage to the finish.
