Just joined to see if i can get some pointers. My 2021 Telluride remote start only last for maybe 45 seconds then turns off. Any ideas or setting?

Not sure what is happening but have you tried the remote start using the KIA Access App ? Does it do the same thing?

I haven’t tried the app. If I remote start and touch nothing, it will run for about 10 minutes before shutting off.
If I remote start and open a door and don’t get the key fob into the driver seat area, it will turn off in less than 1 minute. The work around I’ve found is to start it, put the key inside, then load the kids in the back or whatever while the AC cools it down.
It is a pain that it works this way for me. I hope someone can provide a solution or verify this is functioning correctly.
Past GMC’s I’ve had stayed on while loading etc...

Thanks for this JPMoe. My car kept shutting off after remote starting and the kids would get in the car before I got to the car. Couldn’t figure it out. Good to know… wish it wouldn’t do this but now I can just keep the car locked and the kids out until I get to the car.

for some odd reason, if u do it via phone app, it doesn't shut off quickly. because while im still in the house, i send command before i go outside the house for 5 mins, its still on so it works. but when im using key fob and just stands outside few feet away, it would shut off in a couple of mins.
