I was patient for a very long while waiting for car that was supposed to be here originally about right now. With Covid 19 I understand shutdown, delays, etc. I was called very early on about my "order" being cancelled under what I suspected was a dealer CYA when Covid 19 shut down plant. I was upset about how I was notified and told I would have to come down and reorder when they were allowed to order 2021. I immediately called and spoke to General Manager about how this was handled and was promised I would be kept informed and not have to come and reorder and that I was number 1 on list when that time arrived. Decided to take a more active roll in this and started emailing every week to 10 days asking for updates etc. that I am already getting answered on this forum I just wanted some reassurance I wasn't getting played. Getting answers like I don't know, no new info, blah, blah, blah... I challenged him earlier this week and he couldn't or wouldn't tell me allocations as he said that isn't how it works. Have mentioned KFOS in several emails and he has never responded to that as if it doesn't exist. He called and left a message telling me he wanted to talk to me about my "order" earlier when I suspected they no longer had it. In the email I sent just prior to that I said I wanted to verify exactly what was on it because I never got a complete and itemized order only a K!A customer number when I put down my deposit. He still has not responded to that last email which was very specific, only the phone call and I really want a written response. I am to the point of ordering from a different dealer but afraid I am probably a year out on what I would like. Very frustrating! Don't need a car immediately I have a bullet proof 2009 Mercury Grand Marquis that is still going strong. Just ready for the new tech and get back to a SUV.
