• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... 2023 Discontinued Options/Trims (unofficial)

Good info. This is all internal option group changes.

This explained in much more detail to where it makes sense to the general consumer is here.

I agree that the post you cite is very helpful, but whether all this will make sense to us general consumers remains to be seen. ;) My personal reaction continues to be that there may be too many trims now. With just the 2023 "top" trim and its variants, we apparently have:
  • SX
  • SX P
  • X Line SX
  • X Line SX P
  • X Pro SX
  • X Pro SX P
And of course this itemization doesn't include exterior or interior colors. Hyper-customization is great when the supply pipeline is free-flowing, but when buyers already face order backlogs and long waiting lists, look out.

Trust me, I feel the same way.. I hope we are not headed in the direction of some other major brands..

Who have fully loaded base models... and loaded models that you can get with no features.

I can't stand when a car has 15 different trims with 18 different variables.. very hard for a person who does it everyday to comprehend let alone someone looking at it for the first time

I’m with you, Stephen. Toyota used to be like that, but they’ve switched. Honda (and until now, Kyundai) have a system where you know you get X features at a particular trim level, while paying more adds Y options and paying even more adds Z options, with maybe a few extra goodies if you want. It streamlines everything. It’s ridiculous when you have to pay individually for every single option.
